Hello,

I'm about to install an x-pipe in a couple days & would like to buy an exhaust to pair up with it.

Any LM2 with x-pipe users around that can share your experience with these?

This is the only video i've heard from it and it sounds pretty good!

Thanks

I'll post any other good videos I find here.

Here's some driving videos with an H-Pipe. Decent quality, sounds like it's recorded with a GoPro.

This one sounds louder than the the other videos maybe he has headers or that frp xpipe really changes the sound a bit?

I had an SLP LMII on a Dodge Charger R/T and absolutely loved it. Really deep sound although there was a decent amount of drone.

Obviously Mustang will sound differently but for what it's worth I was happy with the product.

My LM2 and X-pipe have arrived... Tomorrow i will install both only worried about the x pipe rear end install... gonna try to tell them to expand the ends i don't like the idea of an exhaust adapter with weld. Rather have it expand fit over stock tube and clamp & if i need to remove or im happy i can decide on welding.

It sounds like a less raspy, toned down Roush axleback with an x-pipe
Thats exactly what it is...The Roush and the SLP are identical (I believe either SLP make the Roush or visa versa) but the SLP's are a "touring" version of the Roush.

Yeah, That's me. I forgot to remove the air tight case before videoing. I need to do another one. It ended up very muffled. But it gives an idea of the tone with the H-pipe.

Just got the install and i must say im very impressed with the sound!!!!

I decided to go with all clamps no weld and use exhaust paste (thanks for the suuggestion GTP) around the clamps and tube ends.

This is definitely quality sound with moderate loudness. Muffler shop guy has done a couple of roush installed and liked this one much more. He didn't like the extreme loudness and raspiness of the roush. This one sounds really good with an X pipe when you do 2-4K and goes loud and beautiful deep growling on 5-6k rpms with no raspiness whatsoever. It's sound deep rumble when kept under 1-2k, civilized with good deep rumble. On the cabin it can be heard but decently to me it's perfect it won't get annoying anytime soon. From what I've driven so far I've gotten no drone

I got more than i expected i was afraid i made a bad choice. I think these aren't just popular yet or something... These do really well with an x pipe installed correctly!!!

They sound similar like the first video on this page this page, BUT louder and much better quality in person. IF you like how it sounds on that video it will sound x3 times better in person.

Highly recommend the combo J&M and SLP LOUDMOUTH II.
