Thanks! Helped another guy get some ordered for his car and he was quoted only $722! I guess the shipping rates have lowered.

are ya'll talking about ~$800 for the roxiom halo taillights? they were only $499 for me, free shipping...american muscle

also, my halo taillights are coming in today, though i bought mine b4 pics were posted, they do seem to stick out a bunch, but i'll put em on, with the blanked out back panel and see how they look, and post pictures. should be easy to remove if im not feeling em.

Yea, it's retarded. I wonder what makes the mustang headlights so expensive compared to previous mustangs and other ford cars. ~$900 is insane.

OEM headlamps: ~$900 EACH
OEM Taillamps: $650 EACH

Edit: With the headlamps, it looks like all ford cars with HID lights are similarly priced at 800 to 1k.

Focus ST headlamps are $1200 each. So ya, almost 10% of the car cost is in the headlamps. A big WTF there for sure.

I remember somebody did a cost workup of how much it would cost to rebuild a GTI from a bare shell with no parts on it to a complete car a few years ago, and it was something like $40k or $60k more than the car cost. Manufacturers aren't trying to be in the replacement part business without making a bundle of money.
