Ha! Thanks - I know some people don't care for them... I'm ok with that, don't expect everyone to like them! Yeah, I live in Natomas, so I take 5N to 99 and get off at Elkhorn!
Yeah... there's a lot of them around the levee roads I drive - lots of rice fields. and when it hit the windshield, I felt it in the steering wheel - I'm shocked it didn't break the glass or dent the roof, honestly.
Driving home from work along the levee roads, my biggest issue is normally the thousands of bugs I hit, requiring cleaning of the front of my car every couple days - usually pulling about a dozen dragonflies out of my grille and soaking hundreds/thousands of splatters off the bumper and...
here's one of my 16 ecoboost Premium PP, lowered on Eibach springs, wheel spacers, MBRP exhaust, Roush CAI, GT grille with honeycomb delete. Shot with my Canon 5D mk4 and 70-200 f/2.8L is ii.
Went to the track last night - 82 degree air temp, stock tires dropped down to 10psi, Levels IC, MBRP cat-back, Roush CAI.
I through out 2 time slips that had horrible wheel spin prior to dropping my air pressure in the tires..
I don't understand the mentality of the whole "legacy" / "heritage" argument with the taillights. That's like saying if the mustang doesn't have a pushrod cast iron blocked engine, it's a disgrace to it's heritage... or going to an IRS rear end is a disgrace to the heritage of the solid axle...
People say the same about the ecoboost vs 5.0 .. I get a kick out of the crap-talkers about the ecoboost, and I don't really care. I know some people don't like the taillights, and I'm ok with that.. I like them, I get a lot of compliments because they're different - which is what I like about...
Nice - anywhere in Midtown is a very nice area - not a lot of room for working on a car though! I live in Natomas, which is just up I-5 a little bit, I can be in downtown/midtown in about 12-15 minutes from my house. You'll be walking distance from a bunch of great restaurants and places to...
Ah bummer .. missed this post - would definitely like to come hang out at one of the next get togethers. As for the taillights - they're not everyone's cup of tea ;) a lot of the Mustang purists hate them... other people who are car guys but not necessarily "Mustang" guys have mixed emotions...
way cheaper than that for a cat back. I got an MBRP race aluminum cat back for a LOT less than what you mention - installed it myself in my garage ... piece of cake, and love the sound.. my car is a commuter, and I wanted something rumbly, but not obnoxious... I'm beyond happy with it.
