Can't pull up your site. Can you kindly pull up the GT numbers with both axles and paste like you did for the V6? Thank ya.

These numbers are just from simulation, right?

Interesting, for the Auto GT, basically the times are almost identical for the 3.15s and 3.55s. Makes me wonder if I even need them...most likely not.

Not sure about the MPG from this site though..they are very different then what we have for our EPA estimates. I mean the V6 on the EPA site says around 21-22 combined with 3.15s (V6 manual/auto)

These have 16-17...that's a HUGE difference in combined MPG...a 5 mpg difference for combined. That's pretty significant.

Right, so isn't your data up top saying the combined 3.15s for the V6 is 17.8? Zack is killing that with around 26 mpg.

mpg (U.S.): extra-urban: 21.1-26.9 city: 11.1-14.2 hwy: 19.3-24.6 combined: 17.8

I wouldn't trust these numbers too much. They are all generated from a simulator. It is possible inaccurate numbers were pumped into the simulator.

Nothing substitutes actual measurements.

^ hey Dude, checking on the numbers.

Editor of the site emailed me to point out:
"In most cases the faster axle only feels faster, because the engine revs up quicker.
The head-to-head comparison doesn’t show much difference.
Changing axles was more significant in the times of 3 or 4-speed manual transmissions,
when the gears were not covering optimally a working range of engine revs,
now with 6-speed wide range transmissions it’s not so important.
You will see the difference mostly in elasticity (accelerations on gears).

Have a look at V6 manual 80-120 km/h on 6th gear: 21.2 sec, standard is practically useless,
16.2 sec with 3.55 axle is a different story."

image compares the 3.15 vs 3.55 'Acceleration on gears'
from the 'Detailed Performance and Fuel Economy data' page.

These results are from a simulation? Why are they using 420hp for the 2015 GT when it has 435? What am I missing? lol
