hid bulbs

Anyone know what kind of bulb we used Ds2, ds3, and what brand the oems are? I would like to buy a pair of Oxfam cbi bulbs. Look in owners manual but couldn't find anything. thanks

BTW the owners manual is available online.

I picked up a set of 5000k osrams from TRS -- just need to swap them out and that doesn't look to be easy.

I just took advantage of TRS Black Friday pricing and snagged a pair or Osram 5000k D3S bulbs and just realized I was only guessing our cars use D3S bulbs lol.

My car is in at the dealership but I am away for turkey day and will not be picking her up till Friday and can't confirm the size. Please tell me D3S is the size I need.?????

Glad I found this. Don't know if this has been addressed before but does anyone know how to remove the bulb from the housing. I know where it is, my hands are too big and I don't wanna just go grabbing stuff.

Lol I thought of that and checked my app last night but thanks for posting. Can't wait to get my Osrams for my car. Once you change to these you never look back.

I was able to get my hand in enough to get the dust cap off, but the bulb is held in somehow that I didn't want to force with road trip on tap tomorrow. ;) I'm really hoping these can be changed without having to pull the lights (and bumper).

My F150 has a clip type thingamabob that holds the bulb in via a torx screw then the bulb assembly comes out. But I was able to do this on a bench because the headlights came out super easy.

Maybe someone with an actual owners manual can look to see what it says in it on how to change the bulb.
