Sorry a lot of the other forums I found were very inactive. Excited to come across that is alive lol
I've loved mustangs my whole life and finally got around to buying one.
I've got a 2015 guard metallic v6 w 051A pkg and 6 speed manual.

I know it's not a 5.0 but it's still a dang fun car. 5.0 isn't in the budget really because I'm trying buy a house and I can't live in the mustang haha

But anyways all I've done to it so far is Tinted the windows and added has marks above front wheels.

I'm open to any and all suggestions. I just like hearing people's opinions and will probably do some of them.

Also: Throttle lag. Only annoying thing about this car. Any proven fixes for this?

JMS pedal max for pedal lag. A bigger throttle body would help but not nearly the same as the pedal max. Intake, exhaust, headers, cradle bushings or lockouts, IRS links, toe rods, springs, tune, are pretty much the basics. Nitrous or forced induction, is more of a once its paid off or if you just got cash to throw at it. I've read the v6 does pretty well with nitrous.

Go on about this pedal max....

Removes throttle lag, does not void warranty, can stack with a tune.

Welcome!

You are correct about this forum. It is the best I have found for the 6G cars.

Congrats on the new car. I like how guard can shift from grey to green depending on how the light hits it. There are a few cheap mods you can start out with like a cold air intake and eventually work your way up to full exhaust. Have fun with your V6, it's a great car for the money.

Welcome and congrats on the new car. A tune will correct that lag issue as well. I'm sure the pedal max is great but not truly needed to correct the issue if you plan to tune in the future.

Hey thanks everyone! Is the pedal Max the same as the sprint booster?
I've heard good things on both.

Not voiding the warranty is nice as well.
Exhaust is a must. I want a roush exhaust-they sound amazing to me.

Someone also recommended to me wheel spacers in the rear to make it look more agressive?

Also the grille on mine is a future cosmetic change.

You should check out the RTR DRL grill set. I'm definitely getting it when it comes out. Staggered look on mustang is visually appealing. Gives it that muscle car stance. I bought my wheels in a staggered set up. 8.5 up front and 10s in the rear. As to the exhaust, I liked the Roush, but ultimately when with MagnaFlow.

Have you ever heard of someone doing like 19s in the rear and 18s in the front for a more staggered look?

I saw that RTR grille set but I was dissapointed that it didn't light up like the custom cars from RTR themselves.

How's that magna flow? What series?
Aren't they cheaper than the Roush?

Also about the color the guys at the dealer said it was guard metallic-maybe it's not lol
