Good call on the pass. I have 120k miles on my car and even with the dark Deep Impact Blue, I dont have as many scratches/pits as that. 99% highway miles though.
My front clip got most of the small pits/chips from road debris. I agree with others that if you use summer tires, you need some sort...
I like the factory tune. I personally do not like harsh shifts, sensitive throttle etc. I can just put it in "S" for that. When I had my 93 tune, it took a TON of back and forth to get the shift harshness and throttle sensitivity to where I liked it.
I use mine as my daily and dont track it or...
We are not the target audience for that. Anyone on an enthusiast forum is the type of person to do their due diligence prior to a purchase of this size, for the most part. Things like Carvana are for lazy people who think every USED car is the same. "Low information" types. I'd stay far,far away...
I just recently turned over 115k on my 2015. I've since reduced the amount of driving for work from 36k to 20k per year, most of the mileage was done in the first ~2.5/3 years. (Purchased 2/28/15).
Runs like a champ. I do full synthetic changes every 7500 or 8000 miles. Changed the trans fluid...
In my experience oil changes are done haphazardly, at least by my local dealer. They dump 6 quarts in no matter what. Overfill every time.
Some of the bolts holding the plastic panel went bye bye after one change. Sufficed to say, I do nearly all changes myself unless I cant help it.
That really sucks OP, but you seem to have gotten out of it. Best of luck with the next car.
^^Fatguy I don't get why you constantly shill for hybrids and EVs on this forum. It makes me wonder if you even have a mustang. I don't get it. If you have one do why don't you trade it in for a Prius V?
Seems like you have two things killing your enthusiasm. 1) the obvious pitfalls of trying to buy a used mustang, and a used car in general 2) You already traded out of a tang, but now want back in. Only this time it's used. The novelty isn't there.
Why don't you just wait until they have some...
Seems like a rash decision, given that those are very minor issues. I reject the notion that the S550 is some unreliable POS. It seems people only come to forums to vent about problems though. Happy people usually just enjoy the car and say nothing.
112k on my 15 V6. I had one failure at 40k...
Bought mine in Feb 2015 at age 26. 29 now. The poll seems to be skewing to 50+, honestly I thought there would be more people my age.
Haven't had many cars, only other notable sports car I've owned was a 1987 Porsche 924S.
I've had a few motorcycles, 1978 CX500, 2016 Harley XG750, and now a...
For the price of the car, the mustang has one of the largest selections of colors. Dodge is good for choice with their cars too. Camaro doesn't have any variety at all, but who would want to drive a "camero" anyway?
I'm going to have paid off my car in the next year or so, a Need for Green GT...
Everything has been reliable with the exception of the brake booster. That failed at around 40k miles. I would rate this car perfect if not for that. Consumer reports actually rates that as a problem area so it must be a somewhat common issue.
I used to do about 36k miles per year for work...
Pretty sure it doesn't. I haven't gotten to the brakes yet, just put my new wheels on. I needed new tires so just got a new takeoff set of 18"s for myself.
Looking for someone to take these off my hands, price reflects that. These could be a good winter set for someone with a V6/EB.
Nerass, I...
I feel bad for camaro fans, that is a really bad redesigned look. Positive side is that if you want a camaro badly, 18 will be the one to get. Probably get some sweet incentives on the MY changeover and you'll get a nicer looking one than the new ones LOL
The V6 is extremely reliable. My '15 is about to hit 100k miles and no issues.
I had a brake booster fail but that is not a V6 specific part.
It will come down to personal preference, and whether you want an 18 or 17. It may be worth it just to go to the 18 for the updates.

Hi all,
Just upgraded my wheels for GT brakes. Selling my all 4 of my OEM 17 x 7.5 set. I'd estimate about 25% tread left. $100 or best offer. That is $25/wheel. Local pick up only.
