One more to add to the list is enabling support for the illuminated sill plates for the cars that have the wiring harness in place. There is an ongoing thread discussing this here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20596&page=15

Mustangchief posted these values stored in the BCMB module to enable the power and MyColor support to the sill plates:

Change 7B7-01-1 to 0042 0000 02
In the LE and 50Yrs Pkg it is 0040 0000 00

Thanks!
I tried this BCMB setting this weekend and it did not work - the only thing it did was disable the convertible up/down switch. So while it may work for the fastback with the 50yr A/P there must be a different setting for the 'vert.

If anyone has a 15 GT convertible with the illuminated sill plates it would be great to see what your BCMB values are!

Thanks,

it appears to be the same location on our vehicles, at least... the values match...

can't test right now (don't have anything to test the 12v), but perhaps:

726-39-01 1194 0100 000D

to

726-39-01 0000 0100 0068

to have a zero timeout
Confirmed working

726-39-01 1194 0100 00xx Power Point Timeout: 1hr 15m
726-39-01 0001 0100 00xx Power Point Timeout: 1 sec

0000 (for zero seconds) threw an error when I tried to write it, but 0001 works fine and is effectively the same.

The power point is now effectively switched with the stereo. If the car is off and I turn the stereo on, the power point turns on. It's also always on any time full power is on.

I assume the rest of the values from the F150 spreadsheet (link) will work as expected if you want to set a different timeout.

here are the byte values that AngelDeath has already discovered:

Double Horn Honk Reminder (Engine on, Keyfob not in car):

Code: 726-41-02 0001 0001 0072 - Enabled

Change To: 726-41-02 0000 0001 0071 - Disabled

Now you don't have that annoying Double Honk that you left the car on! CONFIRMED!
FWIW, my car (2017 GT Base w/PP) on line 726-41-02 read 0001 0000 0071 from the factory. I changed this to 0000 0000 0070 and got the desired behavior.

I've seen some of the other guys' spreadsheets on other forums just putting x's where they don't necessarily know what the other bytes on that line do. So maybe we should make this read:

726-41-02 xxx1 xxxx xxxx Double Horn Honk Enabled
726-41-02 xxx0 xxxx xxxx Double Horn Honk Disabled

Thoughts?

Great info - much appreciated. Just to make sure I understand though, the cig lighters will turn off when the key is turned off so if I have a dash cam plugged into the 12v outlet, the cam will turn off when I turn the key off?

Thanks again.

It's switched with the radio and/or main power. The radio stays on until you open the door.

Thanks again. Have you done any work on a digital speedo, or plan to?

My question from before remains: The GT350 is the only model that has a digital speedo from the factory, but it also has different physical gauges (tach, speedo) and who knows whether the center LCD display is different or runs on different software.

That said, I want to figure this one out really bad. Not having a digital speedo is real damn irritating.

Success! After the previous codes did not work, I went car shopping online for a model that matched my options. I grabbed the VIN# and then the as-built data and programmed in the new code. I now have illuminated sills with MyColor support on my GT Convertible with the 50yr A/P. The BCMB code is 7B7-01-01 0142 000 03. Confirmed.

I have been doing this to new ones I add where we can confirm which actual bit value is needed.

It seems to me that As-Built data is an algorithm with values for different functions based off the values of other functions. Therefore not every car can use XXX for a function. Some cars use YYY because they have ZZZ on a line that the XXX car does not. Etc. I'm sure there's a logic. But it will require someone breaking it down and sorting it through a program to understand.

don't think they're algorithms. just values, although yes, values may or may not apply everywhere.

I'm confused, those values match the changes I have in the spreadsheet. How did they not work? or is that 03 where it differs?

fionic nice updates, but I think "12v Powerpoint Timeout (No Timeout)" could be a bit misleading. It times out almost immediately with that setting, "no timeout" could easily be taken to mean that it stays on indefinitely.
