Strut Tower Brace missing from your engine bay?

I can't wait to order all this !!! It's on my list for sure !!
I think A GM Guy sold those Braces from ALL of those 30 Million Plus
RECALLED GM VEHICLES in 2014 to FORD. GM HAS TO BRACE EVERY
PART in the FRONT END of THEIR VEHICLES TO HOLD THEM TOGETHER.

NOW, I bought the PP Strut Tower Brace OEM FORD PART for my 2013
V6 and removed it when I traded for a 2014 NEW V6 and Installed it on
the 2014. The instructions said 25 to 26 Lbs. THE 15 BRACE in these
pictures have ONE (1) strut tower Bolt Per Side. The 2010 - 2014 USE
TWO (2) Per Side. I DO NOT BELIEVE (1) Bolt Per Side ON THAT STRUT
TOWER BRACE IS as GOOD AS (2) PER SIDE. MY BRACE IS VERY, VERY
RIGID, I CAN REALLY TELL A DIFFERENCE IN TWIST.

NOW, for what it is worth. THE BATTERY BOX and (3) STRUT TOWER
BOLTS VS (4) PLUS a long list of other DISLIKES made me SKIPP the
2015 and trade my 2013 which I loved for a 2014 which I Love.

To Each His or Her Own. Here is my List of DISLIKES of The 2015.

2015 Mustang! What I Don't Like About It SO FAR!
1964 Ford Mustang For Sale April 17 1964.1964 1/2.
2015 Ford Mustang Delivered October 2014.
This is 50 1/2 YEARS. Should have ARRIVED APRIL 2014!
EXTERIOR
The whole Rear End is UGLY! Tail Lights SUCK.
License Plate Area Is Unfinished For The USA.
Back Up Light is a SINGLE Light Located Center Bottom.
Rear Bottom Valance on V6 Is Not Defined.
The Whole Roof SUCKS.
High Mount Stop Light is RECESSED into Rear Window Where
Rear Window and Roof Meet. LIKE FUSION.
Trunk Lid Lines Cut Across the Bottom of ROOF.
Mustang Is Not A Vette or Viper. Roof Has Two Bubbles.
HOOD SIDE LINES TOO FAR OUT AT FENDER AND OVER at WINDSHIELD!
Side SUCKS! Rocker Panel looks ADD ON. TOO Many Panel Joint
Lines. Rear of Rocker Panel goes up INTO Rear Quarter Panel.
Rocker Panel STICKS OUT to the SIDE and you will STEP
ON IT WHEN YOU EXIT. The Whole SIDE LINES SUCK!
SIDE GLASS OVER B PILLAR LOOKS STUPID! Pillar LOOKS BETTER!
Mirrors Mounted on SIDE Of DOORS are FRAGIL and FOLD. WHY?
Standard Wheels SUCK. SO DO ALL BLACK WHEELS. Tires are TOO
WIDE 235/17R55. And HANKOOK AND GOODYEAR Tires are BAD BRANDS.
FRONT END LOOKS OK BUT, Turn Signal/Parking Light Lens are not
Finished on the Bottom.
Under the front is a 4 BALL JOINT SETUP. 2013/2014 is BETTER.
IRS will RIDE BETTER but the LOG REAR END WAS PERFECTED on 13/14.
The IRS has HALF SHAFTS like a FWD Car. I DO NOT WANT HALF SHAFTS!
Ford Logo on Front Window NOT PONY. I LIKE PONY BETTER!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
SHORT BRACES ON EACH FRONT CORNER and OPEN SPACE TO FENDER.
V6 Downgraded to 300HP and DETUNED and has SMALLER, LOWER INTAKE
PLUS 3:15 Rear Gears will DELIVER LESS MPG! (TO SELL ECO 4)
3 BOLT STRUT TOWER. NOT 4 BOLT like MOST MUSTANGS.
BATTERY STORED in a COMPARTMENT at FIREWALL UNDER VENT PANEL.
2015 has OPEN SIDES under the hood and Vent Panel is WARPED.
2011 V6 = 5.1 to 60 13.7 in 1/4 @ 102.VS 2015 EB 5.2 13.8 102.
INTERIOR
NO TOGGLE SWITCHES ON V6 CAR. CARBON FIBER LOOK ON DASH.
PUSH BUTTON START. LARGE KEY FOB.
SMALL FONTS used on SPEEDO and TACH PODS. EYEBROWS are TOO SQUARE.
WIPER STALK Moved to Right Side of Steering Wheel. Lights Stalk
Still on Left Side. AUTO LAMPS and AUTO WIPERS.
STEERING WHEEL has TOO MANY BUTTONS UNDER THE SPOKES.
DO NOT CARE FOR PADDLES. + - On Gear Shift Is More Like MANUAL.
I DO NOT WANT SYNC! or an I-CAR. (GET IT, I PHONE).
Back up Camera is in the REAR VIEW MIRROR on the BASE V6 Car.
TOO MUCH TECH and THOSE ITEMS CANNOT BE DELETED To LOWER PRICE!
HEAD REST are TOO THIN! Seat Belt LOOPS on Top of Seat Back.
Console Cup Holders are NOT COVERED with a LID TO REST YOUR ARM.
DO WE NEED PRNDS Between the PODS and BY THE SHIFTER and ON KNOB?
Tweeter Speakers in A PILLAR are sticking out in front view.
This 2015 will COST YOU $25,000 and it is NOT the TRUE 50th Year!
I bought a 2014 MADE IN APRIL 2014 a TRUE 50th Year CAR for $19,988.
In 10 years the 2025 MAY BE BETTER. I LIKE MINE BETTER NOW!

Looks great, Tom. Worth it just for that. But here's the real question. On a Fox you could tell just by driving that it had a strut tower brace, the difference was so obvious. Can you tell any difference in the way your 15 drives with the additional bracing?

Well... I was thinking about this while driving back and forth to work after installing the braces. I think I feel a difference, but I'm not 100% sure it's not just because I know I installed them. :shrug:

I love the look, though. And I always thought the nose sat a tad high on these cars, but now it has to be at least 1/64" lower with the additional weight! ;)

does anyone have any idea if the strut tower brace will fit over the ecoboost engine? It'd be nice if it was possible to remove the GT lettering.

I'm with you there. I would love to have a set of standard-rate springs that were about 1/2" lower.

PP Part Numbers for refitting ?

First, thanks to 89Trooper for his nice report. :coolphotos:

Yesterday Tasca said, I'm the tenth customer with this wish.
Now are the parts in backorder... :frusty:

Know someone the other part numbers from the PP to change?
I have the 50y package with automatic gearbox, no PP was possible to order.
But my idea is to change missing chassis part from the P-package to my car:

- Strut-tower brace (I just ordered)
- Upsized rear sway bar
- Heavy-duty front springs
- K-brace
- Brembo™ 6-piston front brake calipers with larger rotors
- Unique stability control, EPAS and ABS tuning (I think it's only software update by dealer possible, if applicable)
- Larger Radiator

Nice to have, but only for show case:
- Instrument panel appliques are Engine Turn aluminum
- Interior gauge pack (oil pressure and vacuum)

The other things are ok with standard parts. Especially the 3.15 rear axle is for european highways better choice.

My '15 GT came with 20-inch wheels, but no brace.
It doesn't come with the silver Strut Tower Brace, but your car should have the full black brace that goes from one strut tower, back to the firewall, and to the other strut tower.

Does it?

Went and checked...and I'll be darned, yes it does have the full black brace. Thanks!

Thinking about getting the Steeda strut tower brace.
