  1. resonance in cabin?

This is a very very old thread (almost 3 years now), I've already lemoned the car, but not for this. I just noticed that when I had the seats folded down (I was transporting something at the time) the cabin got super boomy. RPM related, not road speed. It was never a problem as 99% of the...
  2. Lemon Law Thread: How many have or are filing Lemon Law for their S550?

Lemon VIN: 1FA6P8TH5F5324424 Couldn't find another thread to post to, but wanted to make sure it got on the site somewhere I submitted my lemon law claim officially with Connecticut department of consumer protection in February. Ford ended up buying it back. I did pretty well in the end...

  6. Cobb tuner, mishi intercooler, FP intake

I bought these parts and told myself I'd put them on after Ford fixed the driveline vibration I have. Well, they weren't able to fix it and now they're buying it back, so I'll never get the chance.:frusty: I'm in CT and am open to driving a distance to meet, within reason; also willing to...
  7. Uh Oh.....Hood Corrosion

aluminum still corrodes. just turns into a white flakey powder (aluminum oxide)
  8. Engine blew up

this sounds a lot like confirmation bias to me.
  9. Ecoboost MPG

I average 22. My commute is really short, only 12-15 miles. so The engine doesn't spend enough time fully warm to get good gas mileage. If I have a week where I criss cross the state a bunch it will go up considerably.
  10. Ford Mustang Customer Service Representative

That would be a shame. Their Forum representation was the only good that I've found with Ford's overall customer service
  11. Ford Testing 3D Printed Parts

in my experience in engineering with 3d printed parts, they work very well for prototype parts. but if you're going to try and make large amounts of parts reliably it's going to be very hard for 3d printing to compete with injection molding. one off parts- great. making 1000 in a day...
  12. Another accident - need advice

probably should be sure to specify you only want them to use OEM parts. Ins companies like to push the body shops to use aftermarket or used parts to save money, and they're supposed to ask you first, but that's not always the case.
  13. HELP? Need new PCM?

you may want to check the grounds, its an easy way to have a bunch of codes get flipped that seem unrelated.
  14. Lemon Law Thread: How many have or are filing Lemon Law for their S550?

NJ rules must be pretty poor. In CT the manufacturer is required to pay out within 30 days of the hearing.
  15. If you wrecked and totalled your Mustang, what would you replace it with?

If i were a Ford rep, I'd be really worried about the majority of responses being not only something other than Mustang, but something other than Ford. I'm in that boat too. I'll need something sporty-ish and practical, maybe a Forester XT, Q5 3.0T. Although in a few years I'll kick around...
  16. Passing emissions

i clear the check engine light on the way to the shop in my old truck. hasn't failed yet.
  17. Lemon Law Thread: How many have or are filing Lemon Law for their S550?

When I was looking at the past settlements for 2016 on Connecticut's website there was at least one where this happened. If the value of the replacement was more than the settlement amount, the dealer and buyer would split the rest of the cost 50/50. Lemon laws vary by state though not to...
  18. Received a Geico cancellation letter for my S550

Also, you can't register a car without having already bought insurance
  19. Winter driving

should also point out, that when this happens, it doesn't matter what you're driving.
