Hurricane are also mild. I think Di fillipo are mild but can't say for sure.

All the Catbacks are stainless though which is what you might be reading.
When I called Hurricane the other day the sales rep definitely said the headers were 409, he went on about dissimilar metals for ages and advantages of stainless headers and having the whole system the same material. He did say he quoted me top spec at the end so maybe they do versions in both?

Well without dragging on with the Stainless vs Mild Steel debate let me just say that I was one of the first users and resellers of Pacemaker Headers some 40 yrs ago and I knew Bill Nischke who originally founded Pacemaker. Bill and I remained friends for many years after he sold out. He moved on to setup Precision an engine parts wholesale business. The current Pacemaker company and owners I have also met with and they do manufacture a quality product. However some people seem to take umbrage when facts on forums,Facebook etc are pointed out. Unfortunately when discussions such as this occur in areas such as forums people try for the one upmanship. A discussion based on fact is far more informative,valid and beneficial to all.

Hi Fred,
Whilst I don't agree with everything you've posted here 100%, I do appreciate the fact that you've tried to help people make informed decisions. Unfortuantely, that's something that's been missing from our section of this fantastic forum.
I'm also glad to see that it has sparked some debate and also encouraged other vendors to participate more in the discusion.
So, thank you for the input. :cheers:

Streetfighter headers are now fitted with perfect fit and performance to many Australian and New Zealand Mustang owners.
Hey....and the UK:D:D:thumbsup:
With the RHD Mustang having extremely tight tolerances for header manufacture and fitment versus the LHD Mustang, you want to be sure that you have the Australian manufacturers backing and specialist fitment centers backing you a phone call away.
they certainly are tight tolerances and the telephone and email backup is definitly a useful facility, and one I took advantage of:eyebulge:

One thing though....I'm a little confused as to what material my headers are manufacture from:shrug:

SF say 304 stainless, and yet they're magnetic:confused:. Does the ceramic coating make them magnetic or are they a different material??

The rest of my Borla system is 304 and a magnet won't stick to it..

Driveline warranty wins this battle any day! Can you post a copy of the warranty terms please? Much appreciated :headbang:

Because its turned into a pissing match so all things being equal with both sides claiming best product, its the one offering driveline warranty that wins because not only is it one up, but resolves the Ford warranty disclaimer of anything forward of the cats voids warranty...we have already seen this happen in QLD.

Besides.... Fight you Bastards...Fight :lol::lol::lol:
