I just picked up a 2017 GT Premium with auto, 20" wheels, nav, trim....sticker was $41,225, paid $35,715 plus TTL, OTD was $37,568
Curious - what did you offer at the start? And assuming the dealer gives you the usual "there's no way, that's thousands below our cost", what do you say from there? And how long did you negotiate before the deal was made?

2016 Mustang GT base automatic 26,995 plus tax. I believe 29,200 OTD.
That's damn good. I feel like something is missing from this picture. Is this price after you trade in? I felt like I robbed my dealership getting $5200 off MSRP. Your window sticker was 34,400(give or take). So you got $7,400 off MSRP? That is outstanding hustling if so.

I was looking at another dealer (#1)with same car minus the premium trim option. This dealer (#2) I purchased from had their car listed as "ordered" with the MSRP posted. I had seen the car at dealer #1, and used their posted price (and then negotiated OTD) to talk to dealer #2 and asked them to beat it, which they did. Car came in a week later and I have possession now....loving it.

I read some reviews elsewhere about this. Koons Ford Sterling, posts their WOW prices, which do not include military/student rebates and those are actual prices you get. Some people fly in to get their deal and drive the cars back. I used their price and got another dealer to beat it.

2016 Base GT PP. TrueCar had this model at 34K average in my zipcode. Dealer initial offer was 32k which was my target anyway so I went ahead and took it non-negotiated. Generally a bad idea but I liked the number so I took it.

Damn you guys got some good deals. The dealership I went to a few months ago didn't want to sell me a 2016 GT premium 6 speed for 35k OTD. They wanted 39k

I actually didn't have to do any hustling on it. It was at Bluebonnet Ford in New Braunfels, Texas. I went looking for a red base gt manual, but got this one due to the incredible deal. No money down, no trade in. I still can't believe it myself. Overall, the dealer is ok. I wasn't impressed with them, but the price made me buy from them.

Just signed the papers yesterday. Was looking for a month or so and found outside of Seattle a 2016 GT Premium Magnetic with Auto trans and Navigation for $33.6 MSRP was $39,285. In Hawaii that same car retails for $42-44k. Shipping to HI is only $1k so the savings is huge. Im so stoked.

2016 GT Competition Orange Premium Performance Pack with 401A option, with navigation and backup sensor. $43,150 msrp, $34,500 before taxes, plus $1085 taxes OTD (lower due to my trade-in, which they gave me the clean NADA trade value). I had 3 dealers fighting for price. The only downside of this car is it has 680 miles on the odometer. It was on the dealer lot since Oct 2015...

I test drove it and it went well, other than the thunk/clunk noise and shifting gears. I searched for this and seems normal. Or otherwise get some aftermarket goodies.

Well, hope this sounds like a deal.

Sounds like a sweet deal to me!! Congrats.

Are you guys making an offer first or are you asking them what their best offer is and going from there? I plan to email several dealers with my factory order specs - should I make a lowball offer in the first email or ask for the their offer?
