Finally completed my project last week.
I started out with full catless ARH exhaust with a JLT intake and made 438/404 on 93. I ended up swapping to a ported Gt350 intake, This combo gave me 456/394 on 93. 458/390 on flex with some E85.
I decided I was going to do OPG and Ati damper so while I was in the engine I did the cam swap. Hardly any extra labor.
My current setup is L&M intake cams, ported CJ ,modified FRPP CAI and a VMP twin 67mm TB. The result is 466/399 on 93 and 478/397 on E85. I'll post a graph showing stock intake no cams to Cj with cams.
Cj with cams is top graph obviously.
If I did it all over I'd go with comp cams and valve springs but this would have added about 1900 to the job. Additional 1900$ worth 10-15whp ? Not really but that's the game. I would like a more aggressive cam setup in the future if I decide to do head work.
