It's actually a 6 speed and that's what I ordered.

Both are 6-speeds :p

I'd take an auto this time around. Hopefully the paddle shifters mean you can have fun when you want :)

is the Ecoboost 5 speed? i thought all of them were 6 speed... again, i may be wrong. but.. i have always preferred manual transmissions, regardless of driving reasons.

I bought my 03 mustang daily driver stick even though prior to that car i had never driven manual. I ordered a 2015 manual. I don't think you'll regret it. Tbh I can't even explain why, I cant say I've ever felt ive had an advantage or a benefit with it aside from it just being plain fun.

I live in central nj btw. It has a mix of highways and city driving and I never felt it to be a real burden even in the city

What do you mean you have your dealer working hard, what is the rush?
Too long of a story, basically I live in small town, and had one on order since July.....I was told he had no idea when I would ever get mine. So they have a sister dealership they are trying to use in helping me.

This is the only advantage of a manual, but it's the most important one depending on who you're talking to. ;)

Most are saying stick, can this old dog learn a new trick? Is it hard to get use to a stick, and will turbo lag be an issue on a stick.

1) no
2) you'd be hard pressed to notice if it's anything like the EB in the Focus ST. Is there lag technically speaking? Yeah. Will you notice it in daily driving? Not really.
