That seems quite a big improvement on the GT? Maybe mistake?

Is that enough for lower tax bracket?

Happy days!!!

Got confirmation that my car has been ordered.

Old man GT, 10 speed auto with Ebony interior (basically a replacement of my previous car).

They didn't add the Magnaride, but I'm sure the order can be adjusted and updated later once costs are out

Feels like it's been a VERY long time coming, but come it has (no jokes please )

That's quite a bit better than the 279 they are showing at the IAA. There's still no info about the EcoBoost on the site, correct?

OMG it's really true... 26 grams up! :headbonk::doh:

That means base 2018 EcoBoost will cost way over 72.000 euro in the Netherlands

It does say values are 'for the time being' but I doubt they will be 25 grams off.

That would make the GT about ~4k cheaper in the Netherlands, but thats ~4k off the ~120k price.....

And for Belgium it's about ~50 euro's cheaper on road tax anually but the ~11k tax on purchase won't change going from 281 to 270, you need be going <260 to make a difference.

Lexus LC500 manages 263, with a 5.0 V8 and 10 speed. Which is heavier and has more horsepower.

While the Camaro 6.2 with 8 speed does a 252..... I want 252!!!

Well spotted.

I wonder if these are optional or included in the price (perhaps to get an extra star or two)?
I think it will be optional because the car from IAA does not have the BLIS on the mirrors. My opinion is that designers aren't stupid and it's will be surprise for european customers :ford:. I also loved rhe pony on the headlights :D

Guys, this is very important things that I saw on IAA today, this is European Model! There are BLIS and pony https://ibb.co/n0eMm5

Don't trust the brochure. It's full of mistakes, like showing the US car with orange reflectors in the headlights, being just photoshopped pics from the 2015 broshure, saying only the GT get hood vents, etc

Here's a part of a photo from the IAA, the shown model had no BLIS and there is abolutely no mention in the press releases

EU Mustangs are based on the US Performance Package models. So with all the new additional standard features I definitely see that the price for the EU GT will rise at least 4.000€. :(

I really hope a GT with MT, Premium Package, Magnetic Ride and Performance Spoiler will not cost much above 50k€ here in Germany, but I really doubt it. But I will be at the IAA and take a close look at the facelift, then I have to decide if I will buy the new Mustang. :clap2:

Camaro is still an option with fully equipped 51k€ if the Mustang will be way more expensive :ninja:
Once you see the stance of the PP2 package (squared up)... you'll have the :eyebulge: face!

It taunts me every day. I can say, the new Mustang has more presence. And none of these pictures and videos, convey the slunken'ness & new attitude of this new Mustang, out in the wild.

Dumped my BMW and waiting...
2018 Mustang 5.0 w/new engine, 6-manual, MagneRide, dual-exhaust, trans cooler, etc..
