After some significant testing, we decided to build a 2018 S550 especially for this application. We found that to carry over the 2017 cold air intake to 2018 was not an option due to hood clearance and other install violations.

The New Steeda Intake for 2018 will be on a whole new design aspect, unlike others on the market today! Again, this will not be a carryover from 2017!

Will be keeping everyone posted.

Then why today there's a Steeda cai for the 2018 GT already showing on your website if it's not available neither the good product??? It's kind of misleading especially that we have already seen a drag test of the cai on the 2018 by Steeda a few week ago!

Looking forward to see the new product and result do!

Will going to an 87mm TB make much of a difference? If so, I would love to see an intake/TB/tune kit on the dyno.

Impressive hp gains! Will post numbers once they are final. We will have a completely new air box and MAF 2018. Picture does not represent final product, for preliminary testing and tuning only.
Are the connectors any different from the 15s, 16s, and 17s for the cold air intake?

Yes, the connectors and the throttle body are at different angles from 2017 to 2018

Steeda's New Cold Air will be over 121mm in diameter.

Will post prototype pictures soon.

Steeda has done it again ... last night we just set a new World Record -- 11.022 @ 125.61 MPH w/ our 2018 NA Mustang GT, equipped with:

- Steeda Stop the Hop Kit
- Steeda's 3D Printed Prototype CAI w/ Custom Steeda Tune
- Race Star Wheels
- American Racing Headers

We would like to thank the Steeda community for following along with our build & helping to make this happen!
