The information in this thread regards to Steeda Dual rate spring transition is incorrect.
The installation of the lower rear control arm bearing is probably incorrect and bound up. I have seen this in several cases causing a harsh ride.

Steeda does NOT use needle & seat type valving for specifically the reasons that have been stated here and a few more. Although it is not uncommon to see needle & seat type internal inside other shock absorber brands, not a single Steeda shock for any automotive, racing, truck or other...
We have had excellent luck with the MT82. We just replace it after three years of racing.
Steeda likes to build cars that everyone can relate too, with out blowing the budget.
The most expensive component is the engine.
