Curious what people have paid for an extended warranty on their GT350R. Saw earlier posts claiming that this was not an option for the R. However, my dealer is offering a Ford Platinum Warranty (7yr//60k miles) with $0 deductible for $3350. This seems pricey at first glance. Since dealers are gouging owners on GT350s/350Rs, was concerned they almost may be taking me to the cleaners on the warranty.
Is this a fair price or a bloated price?

Call Ford directly at 1-888-252-3899 to get a direct quote. Then you can check to see if the dealer is being honest or not.

That does seem high. I paid $1,825 for the same (Platinum 7/60) extended warranty on my 17' GT350.

That's probably because I see that you, like I, are in Florida. At the behest of the dealership lobby, our legislature passed a bill a few years back preventing out-of-state dealerships from selling extended warranties to Florida residents. As a result, we can only shop around for ESP quotes within the state of Florida.

Has anyone called Ford direct at the number I gave above to see how their price compares to these dealer quotes?

Are you serious?! Holy shit that's so messed up. I bought mine from FloodFord and I'm all the way in California. My local dealership quoted me $2700 but I was able to get it from Rhode Island for less than $1100.

I paid out of column-G for 8-year, 100k miles. Looks like they screwed up and charged me for 7-year pricing because I paid 2615, not 2845. But my contract clearly says 8-years, 100,000 miles.

I'm in California too, and I don't even see it listed anywhere on their web site. Got a link, or say where/how you found it?

Here you go. I got mine from there as well

https://www.floodfordesp.com/buy_now.php

8 years, 60k (I only log 4k a year) and it was $835
Wow, that's unreal. The brochure says it's Ford Premium Care too. The only thing that concerns me is whether or not this applies to the GT350/R because the pull-down only said Mustang. I don't know all the ins and outs of Ford products or warranties, so I'm really asking if it's all the same to Ford. I noted above the one guy said to check Column-G for the GT350/R.

Appears if you wait until just before your regular warranty runs out it is
around $200+ more for the 8/60k....so if you are sure you will keep the
car it saves to buy early.
