Mostly Fox & SN95 Mustangs but I played around with a couple of Turbo Buicks & a Trailblazer SS for a bit. First car was a '69 GTO & my old man & I frame-off restored a '70 Judge as well. My whole family is into muscle cars lol, heading over to my uncle's house today to get some pics of my GT350 with his original '66 GT350 & '67 GT350 clone :ford:

I have no brand loyalty, I just want the best car made at the moment that fits my criteria- #1 being driver experience. Of course performance plays a lot into the experience, but there are so many intangibles that go along with that to me. The GT350R is Special in many ways. I've owned a Viper, ZR1, Porsches, and the R is the only one I've said might actually be along term keeper.

Never owned a Ford either. Bought my daughter a 2010 Mustang, her dream car at the time. Now my son drives it and got her a 2015 V6. I have been a BMW guy, but loved the new Mustang Body style. Was set to get M4 or M2 until I saw the GT 350 videos on the Ring and started reading about it. Could not be happier with the choice. My oldest daughter just bought a '17 Mustang GT so we have 3 now!!

Bossing needed a choice for all of the above. :eyebulge:
We live vicariously through your garage

My weekenders:
91 Mustang GT
94 Z28
01 E55
06 Cobalt 272 (not a chevy):D
Approximate 8 year hiatus "enjoying" stellar economic climate
16 GT350
Bucket List GT3 (would "settle" for a GTS)
True! I'm quite diverse... so where's that AOTA choice? :paddle:

Btw it's cool to see you also had a W210 E55... I actually had one for quite awhile (to me awhile is like 2+ years)...

Seriously though I enjoyed the '01 E55 AMG.... I DD'd it for like 4+ yrs. At that time I also had a mint bonestock e36 M3. That was a fun pair.

In fact for quite sometime in the past decade, I was well into Mercedes cars... slow ones though.

I had a good number through the years but some of my previous favs were these classics:
1985 300CD Turbodiesel coupe (W123)
1984 300TD Turbodiesel wagon (Euro-spec W123)
1966 250SE 4-spd manual (Euro-spec W111 Heckflosse)

And then in May 2012, I bit the Mustang bullet and traded-in my AMG... for a '12 Boss 302 as my first owned Stang.

All downhill after that... :D

I even had a '12 Camaro SS 45th Anniv edition... :ninja:

My Car History (Only Cars I've owned, not including parent's sports cars from high school and college years)

1. 1999 Eclipse GSX
2. 2002 Eclipse GT (HORRIBLE MISTAKE)
3. Genesis Coupe 3.8
4. WRX STI (Ringland Failure, 100% Stock, seriously no joke)
5. EVO X GSR (What I'd consider my "dream car" as a teenager)
6. Fiesta ST (current daily)
7. GT350 (Best car decision I've made)

I grew up in a mustang household. My parents were both huge Mustang enthusiats and have had at least one from every generation for as long as I've been alive (1984). I learned how to drive stick in an 03 Cobra. I blame them for the sports car ownership bug.

I didn't really appreciate american muscle cars as a kid, because we always had a mustang, so I think JDM stuff interested me a lot more. When it was time to retire the Evo X and move on my short list of cars was GT-R (JDM Fanboy at heart), M3, M2, and the GT350.

I used the Turo app to rent a local GT-R for a week, to see how I'd feel about owning a car with a DC-T. I really enjoyed the experience, but was bored by the week's end. Also, I'm not made of money and the idea of financing a used car made me not feel great.

I test drove a manual M3 but wasn't in love with the way it felt. Coming from an Evo I was still looking for a more "raw" driving experience. It felt really subdued and I was not a fan of the lack of traction. But hey let's be honest, I REALLY wasn't a fan of the price tag.

I was lucky enough to find the exact color/stripe combo GT350 I wanted at a local dealership at MSRP. I figured it was fate so I jumped on it. Best car decision of my life. I don't know what it is about 350, but every time I drive it is like the first drive off the lot. It's also given me a newfound appreciation for NA american sports cars. I can totally see myself getting a C8 corvette in another 6 or 7 years. Hell, I can't stop entertaining the idea of picking up a used C6 Z06 now as a third car.

Never owned an American car, let alone a Mustang. It was all Japanese imports before this. I have no brand loyalty, just whoever makes the best product that fits what I'm looking for.

I owned both of those cars too. Traded the E36 M3 for an E46 M3, but kept the E55 for 10+ years. That was a great DD and my wife often drove it. But my wife never really cared for the E55 so much (wasn't her style), so finally we sold it to buy her dream car - an Audi Q5. LOL

I started out a GM fan but after my first car, a 94 V6 Camaro, turned out to be a huge pile of crap, I broadened my horizons and grew to appreciate all cars. Mostly it just came down to what appealed to me that was within my budget at the time. When I was looking for a new car I also considered the 991, 997TT, Cayman S, M2, and the Gen V Viper but it just wasn't coming down in price to where I needed it to be.

Here's my not so impressive list of cars lol:

1994 Camaro - Caught on fire...
2002 Z06 - Loved that car, still miss it.
2006 Cavalier - Oh yeah!
2006 Z06 - Really liked this car and miss it as well.
2004 Volvo S60R - Really fun 6 speed sedan when it wasn't broken.
2013 Cruze - Eco soul sucker.
2014 Raptor - Fun but I found out I'm not a truck guy.
2017 GT350 - Yep. This feels right.

Sold the e55 to my brother and he's still driving it. Hard to beat that car from 60-100. A real wolf in sheeps clothing back then. Had a relative with a 300cd coupe as well. Great looking car.

Before the GT350, I had a 2015 Mustang GT and it was my first mustang and my first V8. It was so good I decided to trade up. Before that, I had a few VWs and Focuses.

2016 Ford Fiesta ST (still own, manual of course)
2015 Mustang GT (manual)
2011 VW GTI - K04 (my first car to track and unfortunately engine blew up, yes manual)
2010 VW GTI (DSG and got bored with it so decided to trade up)
2007 Ford Focus SES - turbo'd (I'm proud that I did the install, yes back to manual)
2005 Ford Focus SES - (lease - don't ask, automatic)
2004 VW GTI (my first brand new car....bought at a bad time, also manual)
1992 Acura Integra GS (manual)
1991 VW Jetta GLI (my first manual and my first car, yay!)
1994 Pontiac Sunbird (actually it belonged to my Dad but he gave it to me for my use, automatic)

Have had more Vettes than any other single marque (7), but would say I just prefer American cars/vehicles. I am a manufacturing dinosaur and prefer to send my money to Americans. Having said that, my 17R is our 40th vehicle (incl a few trucks and motorcycles), of which ~2/3 have been US made products. It is also our 3rd Stang (67-6 cyl, 95 GT and now 17R). So many cars...and so little time (or money in my case):ford:
