The Amber in the US headlights on the MY18 look aweful. :(

Thankfully the export market is lucky, we don't get that as on that MY18 above they stand out like a sore thumb.

Still not much of a fan of the front fascia, but I do like the shape of the new hood. It's lower in the front, doesn't have that bulge that the '15-'17 cars had.

Uhhhh, what?

I made a simple example of how the aspect ratio(mistakenly called profile by the person I quoted) can be different even with the same overall tire diameter. So my post is still absolutely correct.
Aspect ratio, profile, and series are interchangeable terms. You do realize that you can be technically correct while still being off on a tangent unrelated to the series of posts you're replying to, right?

I'll break it down barney style.

This is where this started:

Not the best pic but this is the closest I have seen. PP2 Oxford white

That's a Performance Pack Level 2 car. Those wheels have been confirmed to be 19x9.5 and 19x10, a half inch wider all around than the old Performance Pack wheels. You may find this post informative on the subject of those wheels.

As you can see in the picture, there's a pretty significant gap between the tires and the wheel well, especially in the rear. That's fairly indicative of a 35 series tire on the rear. Being 19x10, anywhere from 285-305/35R19 seems likely, but I don't believe we have a good enough shot of the rear PP2 tires to know the size for sure yet.

In response to that picture, this was posted:

Is it just me or do those tires/wheels just look freakishly small?
To which I responded:

I think the tires on the PP2 are 35 profile, so they're going to be somewhat smaller in diameter than (say) the 40 profile tires on the regular PP. On top of poking out closer to flush, which exacerbates the effect somewhat.

Some lowering springs will make it look more normal.
Again, I'm comparing the PP to PP2 here.

And here's where you make your unrelated point:

That would only be true if the tires were the same width. A 295/35/19 is about the same overall diameter as a 255/40/19.
True enough, but it bears no relevance to this conversation. The PP rear tires are 275/40R19, not 255/40R19.

The correct comparison to make here is between the PP and PP2 tires. PP has been and will continue to be 275/40R19 in the rear. Any 35 profile tire that Ford is going to fit to a 19x10" PP2 rear wheel will absolutely be smaller in diameter than a 275/40R19.

Which prompted the question:

Is it just me or do those tires/wheels just look freakishly small?
And the answer is that yes, they do look small.

I think this is the frist video where we can see the real carbon package with alcantara seats and door panels
That's the dealership I got my Mustang GT from and my Lexus. They are about 10 minutes from my work. I might take a cruise there and see if they have any on the lot. I have 1k of dealer cash from them.

Those 2 blue ones side by side is a great comparison in the same color. I have to say though, I'm not seeing the more aggressive front end of the 18. Different, yes, but I would not say more aggressive.

That's just because of the aspect ratio™

Still wish they would have left the upper grill surround matte black instead of gloss. Doesn't match the lower area.
I disagree, I think the glossy black looks better and suits this cars price tag well.

However I agree that they don't match, I wish the rest of the trim was gloss as well.
