The wheel was mildly scratched in an accident. 0% fault so no deductible. Anyway, they sent it off to get fixed. I don't know what exactly was done but do you think they actually inflated it to that much?

Or after the tire comes off and back on is the sensor wonky for a few days? I've been driving on it for 3 days now.

Check the actual tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge...I recommend you keep one in your glove compartment.

Im sure the tire was dismounted for the repair and when it was remounted as is standard practice the PSI was set very high to help seat the tire to the wheel. You need to bleed it off.

come on man! drive the car around the block to "wake" the sensors, pull up the psi display, let some air out, the display will take a few seconds and will display the actual reading..............

Hell, when I had new tires put on at Discount I thought my TPMS were fucked up.

Nope, they just actually had inflated the rear tires to 77psi and rolled them out the door.

Sorry I was so tired and was gonna do all this in the morning, but just wanted some peace of mind last night.

And maybe narrowing the problem down.

Does having one tires psi way different significantly affect fuel efficiency?

No, just ruin your tread wear, cause a slight pull if in front with the other tire being less pressure. Now if all of them are low, yes.
