Surging at part throttle?

So I got my tune from bama, and a JLT intake.

The car now bucks/surges at part throttle in first gear(like 10-20% throttle and it stops if I get on it more).

I'll try to get a video of it tomorrow, but any idea if this is caused by the tune? The intake?

SCT tuner? There are threads on issues with them. No idea if this is on of those issues

Yessir, SCTx4

This issue is tuning related. Also, insure your intake is properly fitted and clamps are tight.

Check out the install, if everything seems fine give Bama a shout. They'll most likely ask for a datalog.

My car did the same thing with the x4 with just a tune. I emailed bama and a few days later they sent a revised tune that completely fixed the problem. I hope this helps.

Mine does this with the sct x4 and Lund dyno tune. It happens in any gear when I give it partial throttle it feels like turbo lag. The car won't move for a second than shoots forward... Exhaust backfires... Doesn't feel safe. I'm waiting to hear a fix for this still. I already notified Ken of this. Seems like a throttle response issue.

Sorry to hear about the trouble here! That's no good at all and I believe that there's a quick fix for this. I'm sure the Bama Team would love to get a Datalog on this.
