Seling the wheels locally, the front oem pirelli have about 7/32.Wheels are in good shape , small scratches ,no curb rashes. They come with tpms and lug nuts.Asking $650.
Thanks for the input, I do alignments for living and most performance car owners ask for negative toe between -0.1 and -0.2 for better stability in straight line and under braking.
A normal passenger car would probably benefit from a little toe out, but i personally prefer -0.17 at the front...
Blame it on the steering ratio, unfortunately nobody makes a different ratio rack. I don't know if the Gt350 rack will fit our cars but thats the only one that might. Alignment helps a little when set toe in, not toe out, like it was mentioned. Toe out will make the steering even more floaty...
Congrats for the award! The GT 350 was the coolest ride at the show imo and it sounds awesome too. Thanks for the videos you posted here, the car seems right at home at the track, glad you use it for the right purpose.
I gotta get out on the track to aquire a new addiction lol!
I have a GTPP as well and the outside of my rear tires are pretty much worn down to 3/32 , the inside is at 5/32. The car has only 5700 miles . I drive on the agresive side mainly because most of the time im in stop and go traffic. I am not surprised the tires are worn .City driving especially...
One year coming up in 3 days for my DIB. And even as a daily driver, only got 4300 miles on it ! Thats the only downside of working close by . I just don't get to drive enough !!
Thanks a bunch! You just helped a few people with these awesome pics. I'm assuming the centre cap wouldn't fit because interferes with bearing cap.Any other solutions bedside using spacers?
Let us know if you had the chance to swap the rear wheel to the front. We are itching for a square set up with 9.5. Those wheels are one of the best buck to weight ratio and they look great too.
there is video posted here of a 0-150 run that made the 6th gear look really sluggish. I am pretty sure that car had very few miles and was not broken in yet. I feel a noticeable difference in acceleration on my car now after almost a thousand miles.
Assuming that your wife's car is automatic, when it's floored at 75 mph it downshifts to 3rd or 4th and will leave you behind. it is only fair to compare acceleration in the same gear. Downshifting is easy and fun in a manual.
