Unfortunately! Dealer was unable to repair the trick. After this, a clutch blown up with just 15,000 miles and twice the evap core (among other minor issues), I sold the car.
I had this same problem with my 2015 Ecoboost. Only happened when the AC was turned on and the engine was properly warmed up before. No problems at all with cold engine.
So, you get a 2019 and have confirmed that the issue is the evaporator core?? Damn! I was convinced that this dreadful engineering trouble only affected S550 from 2015 to 2017. I had previously a 2015 Ecoboost and replaced the evap core twice! Fingers crossed about my 2019 GT
Same trouble here. Engine light popped a week ago. Pony stuck at the workshop waiting to receive a new Particles filter. I do not know what is the case in other EU States, but with regard to delivery and receipt of spare parts for the Mustang here in Spain, Ford really sucks. Anything which may...
Same issue here. On April rack and pinion were repaced. Things remained the same. Still at the workshop, I've been told that noise comes from the steering column shaft, expecting yet to receive the parts. And pissed off from waiting for two months to address this (will see if this time Service...
For some similar noise I´ve got mine at the workshop right now. I suspect from the front left shock absorber strut mount, but techs have not confirmed yet. Only 12,800 kms (8,000 miles) and one year and a half. Damn!!
Hi @tabin! Yes, my Pony finally arrived to the dealer the prior week, and since past Friday when received its plate number I am a new happy owner! However, I am out of Spain since the day after and had no time to get some pics to share here, sorry! I drove it only a few kms less than 20, I...
I certainly would like to know if 19’s have also the tricky A/C evaporator core issue or if it has been finally fixed (I mean, actually fixed, since it seems a serial defect and many people running early s550’s have suffered the issue again after repair. Do you have any info?
Congratulations my friend! You will be riding your Pony just in a few days! I must recognize my envy, hahaha!!
From my personal perspective, the logistics management by Ford to bring the Ponies to Europe is frankly disgraceful. My ride was ordered on October 10, manufactured on March, entered...
Guess that your Pony was one of those affected by the steering wheel shortage, a Mexican supplier went on a labour strike on February and production was affected due to lack of spare parts.
Mine is a 2019 GT, Race red, performance pack, magnetic ride damping system, Auto 10T, trim Euro specs...
@Gandalf, Odd news for me! I confirm Spain-bound Mustangs are unloaded also in Zeebrugge, not in Barcelona. I spoke to the dealer and the latest VISTA status is Zeebrugge "compound in". Terrible...!
ETA has moved forward on entire month, to end of June... ! Terrible!
Thank you Steve!! Just looking at my cell/e-.mail every five minutes indeed!! Awaiting for my Pony like for water in a desert! And since my latest small talk with the dealer, it comes delayed about one entire month...!
Yep, assumed meaning of rows seems same like in my case. However, I had as ETA End Date January 1, 1990 although I know from a conversation with the guys serving the Ford Performance chat that my Pony arrived to Newark port on April 9.
Morning, Gandalf! Still awaiting news from my dealer...! Last time I spoke with him, arrival was scheduled by June 8. I am trying to bite myself not to call him once again....Let's see if I am able to refrain from that throughout the course of the day....!
Hello, Tabin, as far as I know, it allows traceability only within the US. The ETA EndDate is not reliable, I do not have either relaible information about the particular info relatd to each status, most of the info you may have from each one is just what you may assume from its plain meaning.
