You can always count that there will be a large crowd that is salty when it comes to BMW.
There are BMW purist
There are the people that cant afford a BMW
There are manufacture fan boys
There are the people that think anyone that drives a BMW is D-bag
There is the crowd that hates all...
Your co parison is interesting. You claim the M235i is softer than an 135 yet BMW states the M235i is faster around the Nurburing than the M1. You may night like the feel of an M235i but it's definitely stiffer and faster around a track than an 135....
I don't think any of us know the future of the PP. You may be right but only time will tell.
There are always reasons why products improve over time. Some of the reasons poor products are improved are due to limitations in money in the beginning, some are limitations caused by tight timelines...
Post the way I do?.....You mean the post in which I allude to the facts that are readily available on the internet and from companies like Motortrend? You know we are discussing data about a material object, right. I'm not insulting your family or friends..it's a car.
Weird that you would take...
I've clearly mentioned I've looked at other cars in the past (even in this thread)...cars are added and drop off of the list all of the time. You can add is350, SS, Vette, STI and evo to that list...What's your point?
By the way SUPER creepy tracking me down (srs). You aren't going to show up...
He is basically one of THE authorities on car testing....His opinion matters and how he communicates positives and negatives in the car in a clear and concise manner is amazing. There are one or two others that almost any gear head lends as much credence.
I respect Chris Harris opinion as...
I'm not saying the GT PP isn't a good track car..A few pages ago I said tracks with less corners and longer straight aways would favor the GT pp. Tracks with more twisties would favor the 1le.
To each their own and the Mustang is an awesome car and I'm not taking anything away from it...I want...
You can claim that but it's simply not the truth. I've claimed...
generic..
GT pp is faster in a straight line
1le is faster in the twisties
GT pp has the better interior
Randy Pobst and others pointed out the same flaws
Personal
I want a track focused car not because it will be a track car...
I hope you aren't comparing the motown mile and Sebring.....
go count the corners....One is an entire airbase turned into a racetrack. The other is a race course that is built on a runway that was constructed by a magazine to test cars. The Motown mile is a joke.
Granted I did use a bad...
I'm sorry to disappoint you...If you think I feel anything good would come from posting the videos up from this crew you would wrong. I'm obviously a gluten for punishment for having a difference of opinion on here but I think that ends at posting up my personal data...
If the rear and front suspension in the Mustang GT PP is disconnected and or not communicating as several reviewers have stated I feel confident I could understand their comments, pick out the flaws and have issues with it within a day or two at the track. That is all I'm saying...
Multiple track days and private instruction at Road Atlanta and Atlanta motor sports park. In addition half day training on several cars including Areil atom, carts, etc....and yes I have video and have no intention of posting it. I've already said I'm an amateur and I'm not racing in any...
Well Pobst is on a different level as he is a race car driver...I'm not in the same universe as he is. I do know I've spent enough time on the track to know when flaws exist and when I get to the point those flaws are exposed..That's all I'm trying to say.....My car will be a DD and if I'm ever...
Not true at all...Things are learned about a platform over the many years of development. Look at the SS Camaros development from release in the SS to the current revision. When the car was released it had awful reviews and many comments of suspension binding issues. If memory serves me right...
I enjoy making rational points backed up by data and watch you respond with personal insults and belittling comments..When one person has to resort to these tactics it's always proof they have a weak case because they have no data to support. In this case the numbers don't lie. GT pp a has been...
Absolutely..I've been passed by Miatas on the track that I've had 100hp on. Driver makes all the difference. I also 100% agree that the Mustang isn't uncorked yet. The engineers need time. I believe the knowledge and parts gained by the GT350 will trickle down to the GT PP...Just like the ZL1...
