unfortunately it doesn't quite work that way. If you have no previous experience with a big turbo car, I can understand the confusion. There is always more than meets the eye and particularly in this country there are factors i can not discuss on a public forum.
-In your OP it would be worthwhile to differentiate between twinscroll and singlescroll. This is a massive difference on the 2.3L ecoboost engines.
-warranty: Full-Race manufactured components have always carried a lifetime warranty against manufactured defects and cracking. We build the...
Our kit debuted at SEMA 2 weeks ago in BorgWarner's EFR sema booth. A turbo manifold is the foundation of any kit, and ours is proper... Inconel 625 investment cast and fully CFD optimized/engineered. There is no other manifold from anyone that has this level of development.
this is...

another relevant product from our SEMA launch is the Catch-Can vent plate: http://www.full-race.com/store/ecoboost/ecoboost-2-3l-2-0l-catch-can-plate.html/
This is a simple bolt on design that uses the OEM hardware and gasket but adds dual -10AN Oring Bungs to vent crankcase pressure...
the reverse rotation is a new concept EFR turbo based on the borgwarner K03. realistically its 1-2 years out and does not have a fit to the 2.3L ecoboost but is definitely an interesting product.
hi everybody, we are back from SEMA. We've attended for 16 years in a row and this year was the best to date. Our Focus RS build won Ford's design acheivement award:
we met Edsel Ford - an honor i wont ever forget
Full-Race had numerous vehicles in the Ford booth such at Tucci Fiesta ST...
The official debut is at SEMA, they are planned to be available jan 2017. will try and get them out sooner. the PCV delete on these engines is quite a bit different from the F150 but i will post photos as we get closer to november
It is one of our new products for debut at SEMA. I did not realize it was listed on our site already.. that wasnt supposed to happen yet, thanks for the heads up.
intake/charge pipes: aluminum
downpipe: stainless steel
Our kits can retain the OEM cat and satisfy certain states emissions requirements. However California is one state that does not allow the linear distance from exhaust valve to cat inlet to change - so we do not carry CARB approval
exactly, these ecoboost engines can reach astronomical...
The 5.0L GT hasn't seen any love from us yet. Our contracts with Ford are all based on EcoBoost product development: 3.5L F150, 2.0L ST/fusion, 2.3L Mustang / RS and 2017+ Raptor. Inconel 625 has a learning curve, but the benefits for this 2.3L ecoboost outweigh any other considerations...
we have some info in the ecoboost article on our site, the photo below clearly shows the flow paths:
To answer your question, you are completely correct. The port angle visually appears different but has comparable flow paths. The reason is our cyl 2/3 cross sections are taken at the flat...
Tec, we can sell the kit without intercooler, but the manifold requires our top mount EFR specific downpipe, charge pipes, intake so will not be sold seperate. thanks -Geoff
great questions! i will address these in the video
Yes, no problem. Our DP will work with existing catback exhausts
The differences are in the size of the turbo and how it delivers boost. We use BorgWarner EFR turbos in this kit, you can use any size EFR you like - this will depend on your...
Hi guys - SEMA is a few short weeks away and Full-Race is bringing our A-game. Ive been offline, head down in my lab getting ready. Happy to say we are stepping things up and on schedule.
Without question, the 2.3L EcoBoost is the most challenging and rewarding kit we've done in 13 years...
