Not according to Raj Nair.... unless things have changed and it got delayed.
From his interview with C&D:

"The order bank is now open. Both the coupe and the convertible will be out before the end of the year."
It was discussed in this thread that convertibles can be ordered right now but according to Brian, it will sit in queue unscheduled until Job 2. Which brings up another point...
If the dealer bullet is correct and Job 1 for verts is 9/15, is that officially the start of Job 2 for the S550?
This.

If A equals B and B equals C then.... A equals C?
It will be before the end of the year according to comments from Raj Nair. Late Nov/Dec seems likely based on some of the info from this thread.
Patiently (or impatiently) waiting.... :kickrock:
Good question but it is anyone's guess at this point. I recall the 2005 began around this time period but eventually settled on the Spring cycle. I do not remember when or how that happened though.
Either way I doubt much gets added in 16 but I understand your point about ironing out issues...

Good point, I did not read the original post carefully. Well I believe GallopingFord mentioned he could not pull up the convertible in his system but hopefully Tricia or Deysha can clarify. I am in the same boat (waiting on the vert) and it is hard to be patient seeing so many members here...
They said models (as in V6, EB, V8), they did not say all body styles. I think we have heard it repeated many times that Convertibles are not going to be available for at least a few months.
I had this question a while back and at the time the info was the vert would be about 3 months later than initial launch. I wonder if that has changed.

Although when it comes down to it many of us who...
I agree the cap is done very tastefully.
Do we have confirmation yet of whether the faux gas cap will be offered on the 50th anniversary package? I believe we have seen prototypes of it on different colored cars so I would assume so.
Great post HG.
My first Mustang experience was with my father as well (working on his '69 convertible, which sadly, he sold). It's not just brand loyalty in that sense it's more a connection to the history of the car for me personally. Lots of good memories and I'm hoping to pass that along to...
