Things that make the Mustang recognizable at a glance. Side "C" scoop, deck lid ornament, unique styling of front end (not matching other Ford products), roofline (the 2015+ models did a great job of resurrecting the original). Its pretty obvious that the Car & Driver cover image must be spot...

It seems to me that Ford is stripping a lot of legacy Mustang bits from this newest version, which otherwise still retains much of the retro body shape. I just hope this bland-ization of style doesn't take the Mustang back to it's "malaise" era status again.

Going by previous year's teases, I predict wheels or front/headlight area.
