  1. Dealership Service Center Irresponsive, Recourse?

Hello fellow Manassasnite. I feel your pain. Just got done dealing with something similar on a $5.00 part holding up a $10k repair on Ford escape (crash) service techs suddenly ghosted me for weeks. It's frustrating. I just keep popping in randomly with a big grin on my face. Then suddenly they...
  2. Stuck on ESS for my DD...can't decide

So for the past year I've been himming and hawing over what power adder to put on. I've largely settled on ESS G2. My objective is 600hp a sprinkle above or below is fine. But my car is my Daily driver about 150-200 miles a week.(Not a crazy amount) I don't wanna sacrifice to much daily drive...
  3. Vicrez carbon fiber hoods

You'll probably be good. If I'm seeing 50/50 online that means as always more unsatisfied jump online to complain. And satisfied ones just kinda go on without posting. Crossing my fingers for ya!
  4. 2019 ford mustang gt steering issue

As stated. No you should not be seeing any fumes at all. Can you give a better description of the fumes? I.e. smells fruity, makes my brain hurt, did somebody light hair on fire? Ect...I'm not kidding that actually helps narrow it down. The steering issue. As described it could be a handful of...
  5. Finally Found One!!!

I see what ya did there.
  6. Vicrez carbon fiber hoods

I've seen around a 50% satisfaction rate with their hoods. It's like either they are good, or total **** up's. But still probably better than Duraflex? 😂
  7. livelink interpolation toggle changes knock reading?

So this morning i was running a long data log. a basic 40 minute drive into work. I had one knock spike on the data log +5. this was the part of my drive that was slightly bumpy, and my new exhaust system may be banging something, not sure. BUT anyway i noticed when i toggle interpolation on and...

  9. Chemical guys torqx swirl remover kit left haze on paint

If you want a simple solution without much thinking. Buy: 3D one Buy: Lake Country orange pad. (Rupes, menzerna, koch, pads are all great options as well) Enjoy. (P.s. I would also just polish the whole hood at this point instead of just one area on it)
  10. Car started SMOKING, then bucking a little, now wrench light...

I would simply approach the person in charge. And just find a nice way to explain your concern about further damage having resulted from the cooler failure. I wouldn't go in all fire and brimstone at first and demand things (at first) I have had a few circumstances over the decades similar to...
  11. Car started SMOKING, then bucking a little, now wrench light...

Without wanting to go down the rabbit hole, of every potential nuance that suddenly becomes the rule instead of the exception. I think you'll be fine. but I understand the anxiety
  12. Car started SMOKING, then bucking a little, now wrench light...

I'm aware. Just the phrase brings back ptsd-ct
  13. Confused about Flex Fuel Tune

Sweet! This is what I thought. But a few things let doubt creep in. I needed confirmation 😂👌
  14. Car started SMOKING, then bucking a little, now wrench light...

After having owned a Ford focus with a DCT as a commuter car. I've been scarred away from DCT's for life. Right turn on red was never a safe option.😂 They eventually lemoned the car. 18k fking hurts
  15. Confused about Flex Fuel Tune

Let's say you've been running a Flex tune. And only filling up with E85. Do you reset the KAM everytime you fill up, since the Ethanol content varries? (In my area the content ranges from 60-80)
  16. Virginia AP V3 with the orginal stage 3 tune $300

Yes it is. Sorry for late reply
  17. Bored of my GT

Now riddle me the difference between 4:09 and 4:10🫣 Seriously though when did 4.09 become a thing over 4.10? back in the "day" it was either 3.73 or 4.10 😂 I have no desire these days to fiddle with gears. It made sense before when some GTs came with 2:73's it really made a difference to jump...
  18. E85 longevity/reliability

I think some of the worries people have about E85 stems from allot of old information making it's way forward to present day. Some of it is relevant, some not. It for sure requires a bit more involvement from the user to run on a car not actually made to run it. But like most things once you...
  19. E85 longevity/reliability

Yeah I've seen videos like that as well. Sometimes I feel some are more click bait. Or they are leaving out some relevant variables. But hard to ever know for sure, but I do see similar videos for people running different brands of gas. It's so convoluted on places like YouTube it's hard to...
  20. E85 longevity/reliability

The E85 its self shouldn't lower your reliability/longevity in any meaningful way if at all. In some instances(not all) one could easily argue that a proper E85 tune is as safe if not safer than say 93 tune. The higher Octane in E85 allows the timing to be advanced more. Since it's more...
