  1. Mustang oversupply?

My understanding is that as of January this year the Dealers have been able to place orders directly as they would for any other cars. Looks like they took a risk and ordered a few too many, particularly in Victoria and WA if the current discounts in those states are real. I don’t think it’s...
  2. Aircon stopped working

LMAO! I had no idea I was in such educated company! Bravo! :) Seriously though, if you have to have an aircon fault that is the best place for it to be. Easy fix.
  3. 2018 Australia

I’m sincerely hoping that the new “world engine” will have a new “world exhaust system path” that can accomodate RHD and LHD without having to be bent around the RHD steering box thus constricting flow. Apart from some pics showing the “dead stingray” sitting atop the new motor, ive seen...
  4. All aboard the Tonsberg / Departing 28th June

Wow, Tonsberg in and out of Port Kembla already. They are definitely making up for lost time!
  5. 2018 Australia

That is freakin’ awesome. 8pm - 8am = quiet start mode.
  6. All aboard the Tonsberg / Departing 28th June

A friend of mine in Sydney got hers 16 days after the boat docked at Port Kembla, so if it’s only usually 5 days maybe some tidy up work was required before handover? That boat was the Salome about a month ago.
  7. All aboard the Tonsberg / Departing 28th June

Tonsberg here and gone in under 24 hours. Must be making up for the time they lost in the NZ storms. Good luck!
  8. All aboard the Tonsberg / Departing 28th June

Yep, it should be just ready when you get back. Two days here, 2 days to get to port Kembla, then about 2 weeks processing and prep.
  9. All aboard the Tonsberg / Departing 28th June

Tonsberg arriving at Port of Brisbane at 1pm today. Took this picture from the beach near where I live. Boat is about 15k away so its a bit grainy.
  10. Aussie Exhausts

Sounds great! A good combination for sure.
  11. 2018 Mustang Build & Price NOW LIVE

Thanks mate. Had it from new and now a much loved member of the family that just does the weekend cafe cruise. My wife insisted we keep it so we've just added a garage for when the Mustang arrives. :) Now, back on topic, we're thinking the same as you guys regarding the price increases and...

Commodore SS Redline has bi-modal exhaust i think. Anyone heard the difference between the modes?
  16. 2018 Australia

Dealer mate just rang me and says he now has me in the pre-order EOI list. Stripes (dunno what type yet) are at AU$500 and the new rear wing AU $1850. So while this all sounds positive, I stress that this is only verbal info from my dealer, and I wouldn't be betting my house on it.
  17. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Now that's what it should look like, the current 15-17 theme evolved. Please advise where I can order this updated front end! Shut up and take my money! :clap2:
  18. 2018 Australia

Got a tip from my Ford dealer mate today that the 18 GT will come into Australia optioned up with all the PP "fruit" except magneride. He seemed unsure if it will even be an option for Au/Eu Mustangs, which seems strange. He also said the car will be "a couple of grand" dearer. Stripes and stuff...
  19. Mustang 2018 Builder v1.1 - by mustang6.de

WooHoo! Thanks for the update Ace! Now, is it just me, or does the front of the '18 when the vents are blacked out look really well balanced when dual stripes are added? It looks like the perfect blend of Mustang and classic sports car.
  20. 2018 Australia

Hi All, I now have a notional order for a 2018 with a deposit down with my local dealer. We are still a few days away from real order placing in the US, and likely a few months for real Global orders. The plan is just to have my order in the system the day it goes live for us here in Oz, and...
