How low is your tire tread? This will happen if they're worn out, especially if the road is not perfectly flat. I also had this happen when I had two different types of tires front vs back. The car would jump left or right hard when I'd hit uneven patches or bumps.

You probably got a batch of bad gas. Flashing CEL is what happens when the car starts misfiring. I've been having this problem lately, as well. I'm on e85. It was so bad that the CEL stayed on after a few flashes and I had to reset the ECU to clear it. The code was "random cylinder misfires".

I had this problem on my 2015 when I first got it. It went away after the dealer changed the passenger door latch (TSB). My guess is they adjusted the latch properly, which helped the door seal correctly when closed. You might try to adjust the latch and see if that gets rid of the noise.

Tapping into the BOV line is fine. That's where I tapped in on my GTI. So long as the line you're using sees vacuum and boost, you will get the results you're after. There's no cardinal sin tapping this line, boost reference is boost reference.
