I have been involved with quite a few cars - none seem to encourage modification and individualization as much as Mustangs. But one mod I don't fully understand. Eventually you can get every part of a mustang in billet, or so it seems. Is this just you all like the look of aluminum? Or do...
I did a lot of mods to my 2006. I wanted a quick car, not a fast car. 4:10"gears, tune and CAI, better rubber and better breaks made a big impact. Very quick - well under 4 seconds to 60
I did a lot of suspension work but it made the ride too harsh and I did a lot of exhaust work and it...
"What any of us say is irrelevant, what FOMOCO says is not."
FOMOCO says that my AC seats work well and were precision engineered. Trust me when I say that not everything that FOMOCO says is more relevant than what we have to say. BMW says its X5 is an SAV not an SUV - they can say that all...
So my Porsche 991S is not a sport's car? It has 4 seats. I would need lubricant to get into the back seats and a chiropractor to get out. But it does have 4 seats!
And I had a '97 BMW Z3 with the 1.9 engine. 0-60 was something like 10 seconds - you needed to pack a lunch. It had two seats...
I understand and if you find a mate who shares that attitude, power to you. If not, and you don't find out until after you say "I do", you can still have that attitude, but likely with only 30-50% of what used to be your stuff!
I have noticed the same thing. I was driving and it was certainly 90-92 outside. But the temp output was 102. It did drop eventually and I am not sure what got it rise. Today, the car read 80 and again it was in the low 90's. It does seem to be accurate more times than not.
I am guessing most of the responders are not married. Your wife should yield to the economics of not taking yet another depreciation hit and the impact that has on your savings and planning. Until there are expensive and chronic repairs, the car you have already bought is often the best...
Don't worry - no tree-hugging! Clear it is getting warmer. Less clear of our role. Anyway, my age is the double nickel. When I was a kid, i don't remember coming out to the cars and having them covered in mucous green from pollens. But as I got older, it started every May. Is it my...
It is not just your height - it is the length of your torso from the top of your head to the tip of your spin. I have short legs and a long torso and I am almost at eye level with the top of the windshield with the seat as low as it goes. I am not sure, without replacing the seat, how I can...
I have the premium package and the power seat and like you I wish the seat could go down another inch! I am 6'2" but with short legs. If I stop too short, I might hit the roof just before the front window and that window top is almost at eye level.
Motor Trend just compared the 3.2 and the comparable Camo and while they gave the nod to the 3.2, when you read the text you might wonder why. Seems the difference maker to them was the tires. They put most of the "blame" on the weight penalty that the 3.2 has.
I can understand the Camo...
