I've driven both a GT350 (tech pack) and C7 with Z51/MSRC on the same winding back roads. Both great cars, both great choices for different reasons. I honestly preferred the C7, however, and so I'm now planning on getting a C7 GS in 3 years time. My wife will allow that. What she doesn't know...
The 6th gen Camaro SS wins vs the Mustang GT in every magazine/publication comparison, so that's one hole through your "Chevy Trend" argument.
MT chose the GT350R over the Z28. Hole number two.
In non Camaro Chevy news, the C7 Z06 lost both Motor Trend "Head2head" comparisons it was a part of...
Things work very differently in Canada, due to the rules of supply and demand. Yes, deals are possible, and sometimes very good price reductions via negotiations, but it is not like the US.
Ford.ca let's you configure bloody well anything and it will calculate the employee price at the end of the config when you click on the calculator. Nearly 7000 dollars off a 2017 GT350 with either electronics/communications pack. That's pretty good. Alas, the fine print for the program (hard to...
Test drove a Grabber Blue Boss 302 in 2013 on a lark. Damn near bought it right there with my beat up WRX as the trade in. Bloody fantastic car.
You sure do have some great Mustangs.
I love this thread. You all have some excellent garage tenants! :D
My 1st world problem? If only my GTS knew what was going get parked alongside (on top of? 4 post lift still in the plans) of it in the next year. I can't seem to choose yet (even though I thought I did!).
You assumed incorrect. :)
Stingrays are not a dime a dozen in Canada, and even if they were, it wouldn't dissuade me, because I buy for me, no one else (ok, wifey has to approve).
I would never buy a Z06, for the same reason I have no interest in a Hellcat: I like keeping my foot in it for...
So a I finally talked myself out of this car and into a C7, but I really like the way this exhaust sounds. I like the deeper tone/less rasp, but it still sounds unique when caning it.
And now I'm right back in limbo with my decision. Dammit!
Any chance for more in-car videos with this...
Everyone's mileage may vary. It's really all about personal preferences and what you intend the car for. I have been lucky enough to drive both a C7 (with and without the Z51 pack, the one without had MSRC and the Z51 did not) and a GT350 over some of my favourite winding back roads, and for ME...
I'll be honest. I'd already decided not to buy a GT350 and go another direction, but whenever I see *this* combination (thought I would want white stripes... I thought wrong), it makes me weak at the knees.
It gets to 40 C in multiple parts of BC in the summer. I should know. I just drove through a few of them last week in my car, and I wailed on it. Car didn't blink.
Pretty hot for a place far north of Texas.
Back on topic: I hope all base/tech owners get this problem fixed without it hitting...
You are entitled to your opinion. It just so happens that it's stupid.
You buy a product that doesn't work as advertised, and if manufacturer doesn't address the issue, you seek legal action. Otherwise you've wasted your money and the company can go on misleading consumers.
FYI: I would have...
smsgt350 and JN66, I hope you guys get this sorted out properly. JN66, I remember you telling me you were looking to trade your 16 for a 17, and I hope that works out.
Two days ago, I drove my GTS from Horseshoe Bay up 99 to Lillooet, then took 97C to Kamloops, before ultimately making my way...
