I was given an offer that I couldn't refuse. Moving on to another car at this point in my life. Thank you to all who post, I gained a lot of information regarding my purchase and aftersale. Thanks to all who voiced their opinions, regardless of my beliefs. The forum was very informational at...
I couldn't agree more. I went the other route, knowing I would never track my car. The website configurator clearly laid out the equipment I would be gaining/forgoing.
I spent quite a bit of time debating between the 2 packages. I understood the car did not come with coolers. I knew the consequences of my decision. I went with the tech, knowing that I would never track my car. I wanted a few of the "nicer" items that the tech came with. I am not real...
I simply ordered a bunch of filters prior to my first oil change. If you buy a car that the dealer cannot stock, didn't the OP expect this? I call about a week ahead of time and make sure my mechanic will be there and they have the oil.
I find it funny that many believe this to be a one...
Every tire and rim combination has its own set frequency for the tire pressure sensor. It is unique to the car. Internal computers on the car will read this frequency. If you can match the frequency of the rims to the frequency of the car, you have your thief.
So you are thinking about a class action lawsuit for an issue that happened to one customer, one time?
I think you would have to have this issue duplicated by a dealer or rep from Ford Performance several times before any legal issues could be raised.
Who knows what the specific customer...
I have avalanche with white OTW, with a tech pack. The decision came down to being a little different, without standing out too much. I will say the gray/white contrast is perfect. The color is exactly what I wanted.
I will guarantee the dealer knew exactly what he was doing. He sells it to the u/c dealer and makes more than he would through a retail deal. The u/c dealer can sell it for whatever he wants, and the n/c dealer does not have to deal with the calls and emails that would follow as he tries to...
I cant argue with your response. Normally this will happen to an out of state buyer. The dealer figures he wont have the negative reviews effect his normal customer base. Also, the dealer will never see the customer again.
Wow. I am a dealer and find that terrible. Even if you have it in writing, the back of the buyers order will most likely state something regarding an increase in price by the manufacturer. So if that price moved even $1, we can "legally" change the selling price of the vehicle. Also, if the...
I picked up my AG with white OTR about a week ago. EVERYONE has said this is the most unique and best color for this car. I am thrilled with it. Message me if you need any reassurance.
There is another way for the dealer to profit, and for the customer to get a Shelby at sticker. If you can speak to the sales manager, offer sticker with a finance component. The dealer makes money when someone finances a car. I paid sticker, financed the car with zero down. I let the dealer...
Wow. You guys act as if this engine cannot take the "abuse." I find it amusing that for 60k everyone is expecting a one off, bespoke vehicle. I received mine about a week ago and loved driving it around metro Detroit, knowing the roads still have salt on them. In a few years, these cars...
