Mine just started with the vibration after my first set of new tires for the rear. Had them rotated and rebalanced and didn't fix it. Didn't even know there might be an issue with the driveshaft. What do you recommend to tell the service guy so they know what to look for when I bring it in. I...
Quick question for you. I bought my car from Autonation Margate (very happy so far) last year and just had new tires put on the rear. 8k miles, good lord. Anyway, I've been feeling a bit of vibration from the rear, enough so that I had my new tires checked for balance afterward. Is it just the...
It's one of the reasons people want to go square on PP cars. If you get a flat in the rear, you can just move one of your fronts back there and put the spare on the front. A little size difference in the front won't be the issue that the rears have.
I'm almost afraid to ask this, but has anybody kept their stock ride height and gone with 275/40 or 285/40 square? I don't have plans to lower my car, but getting also rather not have the gap between car and well. Eh screw it, Paul if you could, send me a PM with a set of four these in gloss...
hehehe
Just be careful, BSO loves to hide behind the sign for the self storage place. And coming the other way, they like to hide in the turn in to the abandoned building right across from us.
Nah. I work at the wholesale retailer next to Carmax. And since I'm outside all day a their gas station, I get to hear most stuff. You would be amazed the amount of people that like to use that light as a launch point.
Yeah, a couple months before I bought mine I went down to Key West with some friends and holy crap did we see a lot of convertible rentals. Just all over the place.
Rozay, do you go east on Sample past Powerline? There is a race red with black stripes that drives past my job a lot that sounds...
Quick questions for the people that have gone from a PP staggered to the 19x10 square set up. Has the steering feel changed with the wider front track? Is it even noticeable? Is the lighter weight noticeable at any other times than during acceleration? Does it offset any isses with the wider...
Speaking to the price differential, I got my 15 GT/PP out the door for ~$32k. That was with buying the extended warranty and service plan. So it could have been down to right around ~$30k if I hadn't bought those. And take off another $2k if I didn't feel I needed the PP. For all of the Camaros...
Your car looks gorgeous. However, now I have to think of something different, since visually, that is pretty much what I wanted to do with mine, lol. I don't plan on any real performance mods, but I did want to de-chrome it.
I don't know about Super Sports, but I used AS/3s on 07 GT and they blew away the stock Pirelli's. Definitely heading that direction again when my tires give out.
So all you need to square up a Performance Package car is an extra set of rear wheels and two 5 mm spacers on the front hubs? That is really handy information. I want to square mine up but I've been holding off since I really know next to nothing about rims tires and anything the goes along with it.
Really, the best way to learn at this point is to find an empty parking lot and practice getting going in first gear. After that, it's just drive around.
Just realized something. I live right on Broken Woods, and with all the construction starting, it's going to be really dusty. Ugh, my car is going to be filthy constantly.
