  10. Why so few convertibles?

My 15 Convertible After being hit in a parking lot I decided to use that opportunity to make a few upgrades. Roush front fascia and a CDC Outlaw spoiler. Normally, the Roush upper grill has a Roush emblem on the right side. I decided instead of putting a Roush emblem on a car that doesnt have...

Plus the other...

  15. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

So after trying the valve spring in place of the stock spring, I have decided that complete removal is the best approach. Feels so much more natural and I can actually predict the "grab" point. After going over it with a mechanic friend, we concluded that there is really no way that removal can...
  16. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Removal and use of valve spring I removed my clutch spring yesterday and immediately felt a difference. It did not feel much heavier to push down but it did feel as if the travel distance was less. I have since taken the approach of another member and used a stretched out valve spring in place...
  17. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Did you put the broken side facing the passenger side? I would think to prevent it from sliding left (off) you would want the intact side on the drivers side.
  18. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Wayne K, I just took mine out, very seriously doubt it will be going back in. However, I did break the ear off one side and was just wondering if you had actually put yours back in with a broken ear and had no problems going forward?
