Hi all - looking to sell my 2016 Mustang GT Performance Pack. It’s been lowered on Eibach Pros, and supercharged with a Procharger Stage 2 system, including an upgraded P1X head unit. Fuel injectors are id1000s. 6MT transmission, zero issues. Tuned by the famous Don Walsh Jr. in Wixom, MI...
Thanks guys.
Will the P1X be a noticeable difference on 93 gas vs the P1SC? Going P1X now is only a $200 difference, whereas if I do it later it's a full replacement that will cost around $1300.
About to pull the trigger on a Procharger Stage 2 setup, tuned in MI by Don Walsh, Jr.
I have two questions for the group:
1. Injectors. ID1000's or DeatschWerks? Don says both are good, but ID1000's are excellent.
2. Head unit: P1SC or P1X? Leaning P1X for future upgradeability...
Thanks all for the replies.
Interesting point that the CAI needs a tune - makes perfect sense. How else would the ECU know to accommodate additional airflow in its maps?
Still leaning towards the S-Type, but I really, *really* need to understand the drone situation. I know a lot of...
Problem there is that I want to get rid of the huge, heavy resonator in favor of a lighter, more streamlined system. From what I understand, the S-Type in particular is drone free while retaining a pretty nice snarl under throttle.
Hmm. Very, very interesting. Maybe I should just focus on exhaust now, seeing how the stock airbox seems to flow quite well (judging by the comments in that thread).
Hey all -
Looking to upgrade my exhaust to a catback system. The contenders are:
1. Borla S-Type
2. Magnaflow Competition
Looking for sound quality, no drone (I take a lot of Bluetooth calls in the car), weight savings and durability. Any comments between the two?
Also looking at an...
Same with mine. Mine was supposed to be in 3 days ago, but is just sitting on a ramp at the plant waiting for a truck. ETA moved from 9/29 to 10/7 with a chance of it slipping even later.
And the worst part? I'm in Michigan, 1 hour from the plant.
Awesome - that's the exact car I ordered. The stripes look amazing (I wondered how they'd look real life vs. the graphic mockups in Ford's configurator). Nice job.
Can you post some more pics, from different angles?
BTW, supposed to get mine today, and seeing yours just makes me all that...
Hi there. New member here with a '16 GT PP on order.
I have a VIN, but COTUS shows "no matching vehicle" and that I should contact my dealer for updates. I placed my order two weeks ago. Is there any reason my VIN isn't triggering a status in COTUS?
Great photo.
And yes, the S550 is a fine car for learning a MT. Clutch uptake is smooth, not heavy, and the shifter has nice, short throws. You might light up the tires here and there (OH NO NOT THAT!), or maybe stall a few times, but I wouldn't worry at all.
