  1. Have a question? Want the correct answer?

How important is an oil cooler going to be on an Ecoboost if it only sees a few hot lap track days a year, and is there an easier cheaper stopgap like the liquid/liquid coolers Ford puts on the ST and RS Ecoboost cars? Like many on here my car is a daily and sees short commute use as well as...
  2. FS: MAP catless downpipe, MAP Hot side Charge Pipe

Does the hot side charge pipe work with stock bpv?
  3. TUNE+: www.adamtuned.com Review Thread and Tuning Information

Just a quick update. Currently at 17,500 miles. Just got back from a road trip to Colorado. Still have excellent drivability, still have a very fast car, still very happy with Adam's excellent customer service.

I have a bone to pick with Adam's tune. I've noticed excessive tire wear! Still happy with your tune, might pick up the e-tune this spring. My tuned car is responding to the cold better than the fiancée's stock 1.0 Ecoboost. Just need to keep my damn foot out of it!
  5. Winter tire opinions - What do you use?

They'll still fit, though you will have ZERO curb protection. I would run 8.5" wheels if you just haaaaad to run 255s, though 235s would be better
  6. Winter tire opinions - What do you use?

Wider is the wrong direction. Why are you getting wider wheels?
  7. TUNE+: www.adamtuned.com Review Thread and Tuning Information

With some bolt ons, yeah....but not on a bone stock car. Maybe I need a driver mod or it's cuz I'm stick but my best 1/4 time is 14.0@102
  8. TUNE+: www.adamtuned.com Review Thread and Tuning Information

The Cobb ots tune was better than stock but felt a bit unrefined. Adam's tune was smoother, faster, better on fuel economy, and seemed to run safer with regards to temps. He has answered dozens of questions and revisions happened very quickly. I am extremely happy with the customer...
  9. No spare tire inflation kit

It's nothing special. Just an inflator with some fixaflat built in
  10. No spare tire inflation kit

If you don't have a spare.
  11. Ambient Thermal Management Intercooler Data and Info Thread

When it's -10 outside and I have the heater cranked, limiting that airflow likely also helps bring underhood temps up to a bit more normal.
  12. Ambient Thermal Management Intercooler Data and Info Thread

Where are the grill shutters that they interfere with this intercooler? How did you get the small holes in the grille opening by the intake? Is that a screen behind it? Does this increase the chance of the intake ingesting water when driving fast in torrential rain? My car is a daily...
  13. No spare tire inflation kit

Pump worked great and the screw on tire connector worked great vs the stupid lever clamp style most use, so I could hook it up and leave it go while I tended to other issues. Only real annoyance is the hose got hot as hell from filling both rears from ~20psi to 36psi back to back, but that's to...
  14. Car insurance and tire warranty questions on larger than OEM wide tires.

Go as narrow as possible for a winter tire unless you'll only ever be on sheet ice. Wide tires float over snow and don't effectively dig down to grip.
  15. Brake booster and master cylinder sizes

Bumpity bump. Anyone? Somebody's gotta know?
