  1. 2016 Base

I bought a 2016 base also. Mainly because I couldn't afford the track pack but I am happy with my decision. I mainly wanted the Recaro seats and I surely didn't want the old sync system. I never planed on going to the track with it just some curvy roads. I thought I would want the magnaride but...

  4. Help identifying annoying sound

Well said, Mine also got quieter when I retorqued the front wheels but is still noticeable. I too am not sure it's the brakes either but I don't know what else it could be. I learned to live with it until I can upgrade to an R. Mine never did it for the first 5000 miles then it never quit.

Average speed (25-50mph) left and right turns. I don't hear it when I am going straight. The wheels are torqued to 150ftlb. It seems to increase with speed. It really sounds like a single stud or rock in the tire but as I said I checked the tires. I will check the cv joint when I get home.
  9. Clicking coming from front wheels (I think) when I turn

I recently started hearing that exact same sound. I thought it was a rock in the tread but I didn't see anything.

I was like you but I wanted the track pack and ended up getting the base. I mainly wanted the mag ride but after putting 1k miles on my base car I am very happy with my decision. The suspension is well damped and firm enough for my liking. Like you I don't plan on tracking the car just the a...
