Yeah, I saw that on there too so I was confused as to why they would tell me 2,000 as well. either way, didn't push it hard for those first 2,000. also small update, its is still making the noise but not as frequently... hmmm... they are smart. haha.

Oooh...... Dang, just looked it up. Looks severe. Does this type of part usually wear out this quick? I was told not to race the engine or accelerate hard in the first 2000 miles, to which I followed religiously. I'm on 3600 now.

Any way to just remove the capless thing and upgrade to a normal fueling mechanism? This is really annoying on my 2015 GT, it not only stops at half tank but it refuses to fuel until I've driven the car around. I have to go to the gas station twice for just one tank
Guys I figured it out. Aparently I was getting too cocky thinking I was a sudden pro at driving MT at 800 miles that I would just release the clutch pedal right after shifting to 2nd and 3rd. I found out that you need to hold it in about half a second to a second after shifting before applying...
