I wonder how similar the barton hybrid 3 and the one I have are, is there a way I can upgrade the shifter to be trans mounted? I really don't want to have to spend the money to get a whole new shifter + cost of install. Maybe thats what I need to do though....
Needless to say I love my GT, but I have come to the point where I am so fed up with the way this car shifts.
I daily drive my car and obviously with the performance packs short gearing I spend a lot of time shifting. I have an original, non trans mounted Barton shifter and BG Synchro Shift...
I am looking to buy a stock clutch assist spring. I have the Steeda Assembly thing but I just want the spring. Shoot me a PM if you are willing to sell.
I will give this a shot and see how that changes things. I bought the wheels and tires used off of another forum member, I suspect the tires are pretty old at this point since I believe he actually bought them used originally as well.

Great choice in exhaust, I have had mine for about 25k miles and it still puts a smile on my face everyday

I dont have the specs in front of me unfortunately. What is strange is that one side is still negative while the other side is positive for front toe. But this is within the acceptable range according to factory specs  I know VERY little about this kind of stuff so I don't know how much...
So i went to Firestone yesterday and had them align the car and rebalance the tires. I haven't really had too many chances to ring her out but right off the bat the car feels much better. The toe was off on the front left and the right rear.
Now obviously Firestone isn't a fantastic alignment...
I feel like there are so many people on this forum with aftermarket setups that this cannot just be "normal". I am having the tire balance and alignment checked tomorrow.
Like I mentioned I had my suspension changed out a few weeks ago and had it aligned directly after and I know suspension...
I will give it a shot, I am taking it in tomorrow to have it looked at so if it isn't resolved after that I will try this. The front wheel is 9" wide and the rear is 10.5".
