Well, things change rapidly.. rumor mill says I might be here in the spring now. Hopefully that is the case and we can meet up. Maybe we need to add some coolers as a winter project.

I should have done a little research.. go high or go low. First lap was in the middle and you can hear the scratch.. cringeworthy moment. It sounded worse than it was, but a couple of the fasteners are scratched silver. No hard parts hit.
Second lap dove in. It is pretty intimidating to...
Agree to disagree then.. I write with ae, ue, oe because I don't have a German keyboard and amazingly enough people understand... Oddly there is a 70 year old fella that plays on the old men's soccer team here with me and he also uses it this way.. I guess I should tell him he's wrong.
 Bama skools... do some googling and see that.... screw it, I'll do it for you...

It may be hard to believe, but you saw everything you have to do in the video. This is the tourist drive on the ring, You buy a card with as many laps as you want to make, 29 euro per lap, and then you drive through the gate and go fast. Then after the lap, you exit and do it again if you...
Howdy,
Took the car to the Nuerburgring on Friday. Had a blast.

Car performed well, brakes really are impressive. After the lap, my buddy's Euro GT's brakes were roasting, just radiating heat, mine were not much different than on the street.
This...
So this is a good example. This is estimated crank hp. What method did they use to estimate this?
Thanks, Shane
Lsstefan, I'm right there with you. Everything you've said makes sense and I agree. I can't see how the tech could be confused about his own numbers. How do they get the...
A little. My only complaint is limp mode.
I may sell it if I go back to the states.. It's value is wasted on roads with speed limits and it's not as good a street car as a supercharged coyote. It becomes a Rolex.
Just to be clear, I really love this car here.
This exactly. If the SS wasn't so god awfully ugly, I would def be taking a serious look and I am a Ford guy; I just explained to my coworkers what happened and I am at a loss as to how to defend ford.
Two things:
1. I think it's BS that the car doesn't have a cooler when it needs one to compete with other brands and live up to customer expectations. It's that simple. In this market segment, it is unacceptable. I imagine camaro guys are laughing...
If I didn't own the car, I would say...
I suppose everything has been said about this BS. I just wanted to get in on the thread to keep in touch with any new options coming out.
Also, If anyone is keeping track, I might have the record. After 6 minutes to warm everything up, I took off and managed limp mode 3 minutes 36 seconds...
Thanks, don't tell anyone, but I still go watch it every now and then.
Ring in Sep sounds good. I'll talk to by buddy with the GT4 and another with a '15 GT.
Let's set a date and see if anyone else around is interested. Should be fun!
I'll PM my phone number.
I figured she could take it.. that it was built for it.. now I feel a little bad.
I checked with the nguage and there were no codes. Is it a different sort of code than what we'd get from a scanner? if so, I'll head in tomorrow.
Thanks,
Shane
Hey guys,
Preface: I'm in Germany.
So, I hit limp mode this morning for the first time. I'm working night shift and on Sunday mornings the roads are empty. Using Mytracks app I found that after 6 minutes of normal warmup time, I hit it.. 4 minutes later I hit limp mode. Ambient temps were...
