Sorry about the car man. I have a GT P/P as well and try not to drive it in the rain. A few months ago I broke traction driving about 45mph passing someone and almost lost control of the car and I was only about 30-40 throttle. Advanced trac saved me from going into the guard rail. You really...
I forgot to factor in maintenance. The STs seem like a great choice for DailyDriving. The RS is very enticing with the AWD and 350hp. If I didn't have a GT or downsized to 1 car, the RS would be perfect. I live in NJ and don't experience run into much traffic and 98% of my commute is highway...
15 GT/PP owner here looking to buy a daily. I currently have an older f150 but I don't like driving it 30miles to work and its better suited for winters and truck duties. I really love the look of the Focus RS and ST, plus a Hatch is what I really want. Do you guys think it will be worth it to...
I was averaging about 17mpg per tank my first 2-3k miles. Now im averaging 20-21 mpg per tank and have 9kmiles on the car. I didnt change my driving habits and still have the same 20mi commute to work. Engine breaking mpg is good. And i have the PP.
Looks like I'm going to wait for the Phase 2/3 release before I decide on which kit to buy. The Torque of the TVS is very appealing. Thanks for the Input guys. I know which ever kit I go with, I'll be more than satisfied.
Glad to hear that. The whipple kit seems like the best posi blower kit. I know that the new 5.0 has forged crank and sinter forged rods but Are there any concerns with running this blower on the stock block?
Of course not. But I cant find much info on the sc whine. I recall reading cobra owners that upgraded from a ported eaton to a whipple or 2.8kb and were dissappointed in the lack of whine. Im currently leaning towards whipple.
Im planning on adding a SC kit next spring to mt 15 gt PP. I cant decide between TVS and Whipple. Both have their benefits. I love the whine from the KB cobras. I want to know which 1 is louder and sounds more bad ass. Im looking to put down about 600whp and 500tq.
You should get Suspension mods to firm up the rear end. Wheel hop is terrible in this car. Irs bushings, vertical links, and subframe braces should be enough.
Get a front plate bracket from CJponyparts. Its totally worth it. Drill 1 hole and use 2 existing holes in the front lip. I love in NJ and that was the first thing I did.
If you have good credit and can qualify for a real low rate/ finance it and invest your cash. And i hope you would be using a bank check, never walk around with that much $.
I heard that the ST's are very fun cars as a DD. It seems like the most logical option since I only have a 1car garage and an RS should be garaged. There are a few 2014s in my area for around 18k from owner. Instead of buying new, I can use the leftover $ and buy more mods for the Stang and the...
With winter coming in the next few months i will need a DD because gt PP will be garaged(I live in NJ and we get slammed with snow). I have a few options here. Ive always wanted a hatchback for its versitility and I could put a roof rack on it for my kayaks and snowboard.
Option 1: Purchase a...
