Another 2017 owner here. Took delivery of an early build on Oct 2016. I have had no issues and the car is still in my garage. I love every time I get to drive it and I’m thankful for the track attack experience, meeting other owners and learning what this car can actually do on the track.
I...
I wouldn’t stop at just trying to get the wing even if you don’t plan to install it. I would also request a new trunk since if you were to decide to install the wing you would have unwanted holes that would need to be plugged and I wouldn’t want that on my “new” car.
2 R's have sold on bring a trailer in the last week. One was a 2016R with 237 miles that sold for 57,500 and the other a 2017R with 4k miles that sold for 59,000. After adding the 5% buyers fee you have 60,375 and 61,950. Both had PPF I believe...
I would be curious to know where these are as a quick search on cars.com only showed 1 in the US under 44k and it had over 25k miles and was being sold private party. Cheapest dealer was a DIB w/white stripe track pack with 13k miles for 46k.
I know there are a few people on here looking for a base R. I came across one on Bring a Trailer with 1700 miles currently at 58k with 18 hours left. I know nothing about the history of the car, but they post the VIN and dash plaque is GR213...
I went with my wife and she was a driving guest. We did not get the track insurance and after completing the event I am happy with our decision. I went probably 80% and only had one incident where I came in a bit hot at the end of the straight and had the back end kick out a bit. Easily...
I am in the same boat. I have been given three different stories and was told the original price would be honored. I saved all of the screenshots and chat logs they have been sent though tier one and tier two of escalation and the best they are willing to do is 20% off. It seems like Thursday...
Put H2346 up on flat stoppers and covered on 12/3. Battery will be pulled soon and stored down in the basement with a tender once or twice a month
until spring.
Also I second what Torque said. If you start it drive it, otherwise leave it off.
Another troll joining the GT350 subforum just to get a rise out of some of the members. To all GT350 owners just let this thread die.
The photo below was posted on camaro6. I don't know why someone with that mentality would post in this sub forum for any reason other than to troll.
Thanks for the lead on this everyone! Just picked up a set for $589.37! Funny thing is the cost of the 295s dropped $16 while I had them in the cart to the point where I finally checked out.
I have the master blaster, but I got it for $229 on Autogeek Black Friday or Cyber Monday 2 years ago. It is nice but can also be a pain without also getting more hose extension because it is quite heavy. If I decide to keep it I will probably be wall mounting it and getting the hose...
Sounds like you are similar to my wife and I. I am 6'2" and my wife is 5'7" and I have two forward facing seats for my 4 and 2 year old. Right now my 4 year old is behind my seat and she can be cramped on longer drives so I will be switching their seats for next year.
They do love it though...
I was going to post this as well. Shame on ford when the package this is competing with SS1LE has all of that included and no overheating issues. I am worried this will be just like the 2016 GT350 tech packs. It may keep up with the SS1LE for a 10 minutes but then you get to limp out the rest...
I unfortunately have to agree with this. I work with middle school kids and teens and I would say half have no desire to get their license. I would also say less than 33% actually care about performance cars. They would love a self driving car so they don't ever have to look up from their...
