Thanks for your input. The Rexing V1 is one that I have already read about so might opt for that. I understand that the rear camera with it is pretty poor but since it only costs an extra $20 I think I will go for it - assuming it can be fitted in the back of the 350.

I was under the impression that the duty would be payable if I sold within 12 months of returning to the UK. This would of course mean holding the car for 12 months before selling it, which must be preferable to paying the extra 30%.

That's almost exactly what I got quoted. Only I was then told that they didn't have the kit yet for the full front end. Weird. Now not sure what to do - wait for an indefinite period or go for lesser front end coverage ($1000).
