Pardon me. Not a Mustang, but the first generation Cougar is technically a dressed up Mustang

Assuming non premium prefered and $6k difference doesn't matter. Given the same packages: performance and Recaro only, 6 manual of course, would you go with Mustang Ecoboost or GT for 2 days a week 20 miles commute and going to canyon roads? And why? Interested in what you think. You can also...
BTW, I ended up with an '08 Z06 with only 11k miles, comes with a set of brand new OEM tires, too. It is practically still a new car. It was impossible to resist! Although I an a Ford fan, I must admit this is a great car.
I m glad that we can have an inteligent conversation here. I was invited as a select few by Lexus USA for a focus group of the F brand earlier this year (think of it as SVT invite you to be in a focus group). I met Mr. Yaguchi, the RCF's chief engineer and some other key engineers. Another cool...
It doesn't only turn the nannies off. It also lock the torque converter 100%.
The price is hard much more compared to S550.
If I sound like a Toyota fan. Well, Ford and Toyota are my 2 favorite brands these days (see my signature
for our Ford cars). I ve been having doubts about getting an...
Did you drive the RCF in "expert mode"? It transforms the car from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde, the same way that Fiesta ST must be driven in expert mode (not only sport mode) with all electronics off (pressing the traction control for about 10 secs.
i was also meh on rcf in regular and even Sport +...
Sorry folks, as much as I like S550 GT....
Before I start, I think S550 GT PP 6M Recaro is a better driver's car than '10 GT
500 having driven them back to back, except for the acceleration when driven hard btw. That means a real driving not just a straight line driving ....
RCF's chassis is...
Ressurecting an old thread here. Just from driving perspective (no value or collectability factors included), I just drove a '15 GT PP 6m Recaro and '10 Shelby GT500 back to back. I feel the S550 as a better car except for the acceleration. Call me crazy.
I posted on the FI forum. It seems all the kits make great power but have traction or other issues.
I m planning to get a basic 6mt GT with performance and recaro packages, then install Ford Racing handling package.
I would like to ask the collective wisdom here if I can do bolt ons approach...
550hp at the crank. More than that is quite too much for street use.
Now, can FR/Roush or any other FI kits can be tuned with a less agressive pulley to get the power I want, with the rational that it will be a more balanced street car? Thanks again for the great inputs.
For an unrelated side...

I want more of a gt350 than a gt500 car and going this route since gt350 is unobtainable
Pardon me for asking this and I am asking it in the most polite way.
It seems all of you, regardles of the kit you use, are having unresolved traction problems (that render the extra power unusable).
My plan is:
-Get a basic GT 6mt with performance package and recaro seats
-Get Ford Racing...
Quoting my niece "OMG lolz"
I left the thread unread for one might and it has become
a thread about weight and how to pick up a woman?
Let me make it easy for you.
Unless you are a hard core tracker, you won't feel the 160 lbs weight difference because likely you wont push into the car's...
My question now does selectable drive mode matters for a car the way i configure it. Coz i have to go premium to get that. I want to spec my car as performance orirnted since it will be just a toy
