The AC uses 134A which it does act a lot like an on/off switch when the pressure isnt where it supposed to be. Just refilling it from 25 psi to 35 psi my Max AC went from 72 down to about 45.
For those has their warranty expired go get yourself an acpro100 can and refill it yourself, its not a permanent fix but at 46 dollars you can afford to do that every year instead of 2000 bucks

I went with the Ford kit and paid 135, it comes with a transmitter that I didn't even need to use.
I guess with what you paid on amazon you can buy 2 sets to see if it's a faulty set
I posted it above, go to levitown ford parts and search for this part number, its about 135 bucks for 4. I put it in with my forgestar and it auto sync without me doing anything.

The boost a pump taps the plug of the fuel pump power, I would check the wiring under your passenger seat behind the driver seat to make sure it's getting proper voltage and nothing is loose, like venumous said if the fuel pump fail it won't slowly die, it'll just shut off immediately
