Anybody considered swapping in the 3.73 pumpkin from the v8 performance pack?
I think many of us came from FWD and AWD and look over the rear diff as a performance mod.
I bet a 3.73 over the 3.31 or 3.55 would be a hoot.
I've seen wildly varying descriptions of the S550 steering. I'm interested in how you perceive the feedback. You hit a bump, does the wheel twitch? Does effort increase with tire grip? Is it Novocain-numb?
Anybody know why Ford does this? It's -like- tuning 101 to set AFR to stoich for the best combination of fuel economy, emissions, and power. It'll go rich for power, but just cruising, it always wants to be 14.0. Seems like fixing this would be a quick way to come up with another MPG or two...
We have some nasty weather in Michigan today, so I thought I take the opportunity to test the Mustang winter capabilities. Coming from an AWD car, I was a bit concerned about going back to RWD in the winter. And, I didn't want to hassle with two sets of wheels tires.

Anybody care to share their best 0-60 times? I just tried out the trackapps today and got a 6.3 with a manual non-PP.
There's a lot of data on the auto, but very little on the manual!

Been watching my boost gauge. It looks to me like the turbo is programmed to go up to 10 psi ASAP, and then ramps to 18 psi proportionally to engine speed.
Is this what everyone else is observing as well?
I suppose Ford would do this for a linear power feel. However, if I was at the helm...
