That's why the covers are listed as Dealer Assy. The covers are delivered to the parts department ahead of the car arriving. If you call the dealer, I'm sure they will tell you there is a box waiting for you.

Thanks! That is certainly interesting about the higher ADM on the color/strip combo.

Unfortunately, the plastic piece along the front bumper was damaged in transport and the replacement is on order. I was told the body shop will need to remove the entire bumper to replace the part. :doh: This is why no chin spoiler. :mad:

The dealer I use in PA had one early and one late 2016 allocations. They also won one R in the lottery. I spoke with the GM a week ago and they were told by the Ford regional rep not to expect a 2017 allocation. That may change later in the MY, but nothing for now.

I'm right there with you. May 27th blend date but mine is still awaiting shipment. My dealer informed me yesterday the arrival date is June 13.

I myself was totally surprised about the late 2016 allocation offered to me by the regional rep. I asked about the MY switch over and I was told 350 production does not match up with the Eco, V6 and GT production. The rep did not share the cutoff date with me.

I was waiting on a MY2017 but my dealer called to let me know the regional rep offered a late 2016 allocation. From what I've heard, a few of the smaller dealerships received some last minute allocations. Every way, my wait will certainly not be as long as others on the forum.

Just found out my build date was pushed back from 5/30 to 6/7 with an estimated delivery date of early to mid July. :frusty:

I also have a build date of 5/30 and "In Order Processing" I sure hope mine gets moved up a month! :headbang:

Well, looks like there is a first for everything. My salesperson called me today to let me know they did not receive any info on 2017 allocations but instead received another 2016 allocation. The dealership has no idea when the order bank will open for 2017, so I decided to pull the trigger on...

I may be able to get into the dealership Friday afternoon instead of Saturday. I will report back what I find out. I have ordered new Mustangs in the past and have nave been led astray by the dealership, but I guess there is always a first time.
