When I read it, it sounded to me like he was trying to make the point that some people smoke all their lives (improperly break in their engines) and don't have any problems/live to be 90 while others get lung cancer and die at a young age (have engine problems from impropper break-in). The...
Not sure what point you're trying to make here, as smoking, along with obesity, is one of the biggest preventable causes of coronary artery disease. Smoking does more than mess up your lungs (also increase risk for any number of other cancers such as pancreatic cancer and liver cancer).
Even easier (at least for those with the 3.73 gears from the GT PP) is to start off in 2nd gear. 1st gear is so short in these cars as to be almost useless in daily driving and starting in 2nd eliminates the rough 1-2 shift many people have complained about. Not sure how this is for those with...
Installed DD reverse light and glove box light (did the map lights and trunk lights a couple of weeks ago. The glove box was a pain to get the bulb in right. Reverse light was easy as pie.
I got this cool Ford logo toolbox. I plan to use it hold some of my detailing towels and supplies.
No actual gifts for the car but I did order some MRT body-colored hood struts today.
Think of it this way...the more HP you can get out of an engine with just bolt-ons = the more the manufacturer left on the table in the stock form. Ford just hasn't left that much on the table with this engine. They made a lot of improvements to the coyote when they did the Boss 302 and some of...
Nice! I love the Kona Blue and the 50th LE wheels (the version on the 50th AP are too shinny IMO). If I could have justified spending the extra I may have seriously considered going with the Kona Blue LE with the MT.
JLT oil separator yesterday (should have been on as soon as I picked the car up, but oh well) with an interior detail (Blackfire all-purpose interior cleaner and Pinnacle Leather Conditioner) then window tinting today (20% on driver/passenger windows, 15% on rear side and rear windows). Pics...
I was out getting food this evening and a guy in a red Gen 5 Camaro pulled up next to me (it obviously had aftermarket exhaust so I could tell he was a car guy). Told me how much he liked the looks of the 2015s, especially the rear end and that he used to have a blue 2014 5.0 with a blower. He's...
I ordered a Guard GT w/ PP, 401a, advanced security package, reverse park assist, adaptive cruise control and premium interior, however I ended up buying a similar model off the lot from another dealership. My original order is due to be delivered to Gainesville, FL on 12/24/14. VIN is...
I'm actually curious about the answer to this myself. My guess is that they test out different products and tune for each of them, but with the number of possible different combinations I'm not sure how they can have a tune for everyone's specific setup.
Anyone with connections that can give me an idea of the cost of the soft-touch upper door panels that are part of the 68B package? I ordered 68B on my original order but ended up buying one off the lot with the dark saddle interior. I much prefer the dark saddle interior but would like to be...
My wife is an elementary school teacher and this morning she calls me because she forgot something at home and wanted me to bring it on her way to work. I pull up and park in the faculty parking lot which is right in front of the 2nd grade classrooms. When I get out of the car I hear some of the...
Yeah, there are actual very small chips in the windshield. I originally thought they were tiny bugs or some kind of road gunk but getting down really close you can tell there are small pits/chips in the glass. They are so small that they aren't really noticeable unless the light hits them just...
